Thinking of buying DS3

I played and very much enjoyed the first two games and extraction.
I am now curious: Is Dead Space 3 HORROR? Or did it go the crappy "Action" path Resident Evil did?

It became an Action game. They toned down the horror, because kids were starting to develop nightmares from the previous set, thanks to their effing stupid parents for allowing their dumb little kids to play

Best played alone and with head phones on for what horror effect is there. It starts to get darker and creepier towards the end but ultimately it is action based. Playing the game coop completely nullifies any and most scares. I enjoyed the game alot actually as a Dead Space fan, but its just not that scary. I would still get it since its probably cheap as hell by now.
