The Flapping Duster and more secret items....

Most people say that the Flapping Duster was removed from the American version of the game. I say no. I think that when they were translating the game there was a programing error that made the flapping duster unfindable. Well it IS findable but you need to be very,very lucky so you can get one. Trust me i've played the gallery of time TONS of times and i never found one. However 2 people did find it using cheats (GAMESHARK,XPLODER2 OR CODEBREAKER).

One of them is Mikezilla2 and the other one is Raider01.
Many other people got it whit cheats too but never posted their pictures.

So Mikezilla2 or Raider01 - please post videos.

I am still wondering what are those other items that Mikezilla found.

They are:
Flapping Duster
Terra (or Shell Ring)
Some scrool thingy
Heaven key
Savebook
And 2 unknown powders
Oh and some odd thingy that says 124 on it

Okay,first for the flapping duster,it's used for the back floors in gallery of time.

Next for the Shell Ring or Terra - well i heard that it has something to do whit Rando and in Dark Cloud Prima Strategy Guide it says that it's a keyitem.

Next for the scrool - i have no idea

As for the heaven key i think it has something to do whit Dark Heaven Castle or demon shaft...

AND NOW for the SAVEBOOK i think that it can save your game in the dungeons or....i have no idea.....

As for the powders they are one purple (not the Escape Powder) and one Blue (Not the power-up powder) i think that they can be used for your weapon or something...like BUILD-UP powder???

AND FINALLY that square thingy whit the 124 numbers on it...i have no idea what it does,i think it's a glitch item like the broken dagger and those invisible items....

its been a long time since iv looked at this , thro all the testing i did the only thing that worked was the flapping duster , if you look around on youtube or the site "unseen64" or beta 64 cant recall it lists a few videos for a pre beta of the game , i haven't seen anyone else post pictures ether all i can offer for now is those old photos that i uploaded , video is something i cant do at least for now , maybe some time this year i might go back to it and get some proper photos , tho il need to get a new PS2 first - easily done , it should be noted my version of the game is "PAL" , any who - who is Raider01?

nothing , id hazzrd a guess it would of been used to save your game , as it stands it dos nothing , - warp poweder - is bacily the same thing as the escape powder cept it doesn't do a thing , all those items would require an extra layer of coding to work - its missing

i didn't make it - i had it made on code masters project , and no im not going to make a video , i dont even have working a PS2 yet let alone the right gear for videos , the best i can offer is photos if i pick it back up in 2 months time .

actually you can do it without a PS2 really
there are things called emulators that can run ps2 games on pc but even if it works it cannot transfer the memory card to the pc so when you start the game on pc you will have to go all the way to gallery of time again.
but MAYBE downloading saves will do it

i forgot about that and nah i could use a memory card to USB adotper , point is moot tho - the frame rate is off more trouble for me then its worth , most of those downloaded saves are incompatible to.

but you could just do it fast, a few frames aren't problems

oh and i remembered the medusa powder glitch

1.go into basket's house in queens
2.open the ,,can i store in some items,,
3.exit it
4.go into joker's store and make the marker under the holy crystal
then press right and x at the same time and you will get a medusa powder

pretty sure thats about what the PAL version has .

nah actually the PAL version is the same as the NTSC version but instead of Norune Village it's Nolun Village
and offcourse has different glitch system

i'm gonna be buying my own laptop soon,and i will make sure it's CPU is fast so i can play dark cloud whit no problem and get that flapping duster
