sous vide - the worst way to cook meat ever

stopped in at a celebrity chef's restaurant and ordered a new york strip. what was served was terrible, bad taste and the sinew hadn't softened like it does when you broil a steak or fry it.

have you ever smelt how godawful a sous vide cooked piece of meat smells when you open the bag? it's enough to turn someone vegetarian or even vegan.

i'm giving that cooking technique a pass.​

It works very well if done properly
