Sabaton and SOAD

I have 2 questions so I'll ask them both in the same post.

1. Is Sabaton's album The Last Stand as good as previous albums? I've only heard a few of the songs once and didn't r eally give it a chance yet.
2. I've been (mostly) up to date with news on System of a Down and I didn't hear anything about a new album yet, but in hope that I missed something I'm asking here.

Same old band drama. One day they're getting back together and working on the album, the other day "they just dont see it happening in the foreseeable future". Daron and Serj just cant get on the same page it seems like.
