[link=http://www.1up.com/do/blogEntry?bId=9085141]RUMOR: Mega Man Legends 3 is still possible[/link]

And you still CAN make it happen.

"David" of the 100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3 Campaign [link=http://www.facebook.com/notes/100000-strong-for-bringing-back-mega-man-legends-3/rolls-wrap-up-072411/152484874825762]has reported[/link] that a Facebook user by the name of "Zeri P Bishop," had supposedly received information from a source within Capcom of possibly reviving the MML3 project. According to Zeri P Bishop, fans may actually still bring back Mega Man Legends 3 into development. The message posted here has been edited by me, for it is essentially instructions to help get the game back in development, and clarity and understanding is essential. For the Zeri's original post, see [link=http://www.facebook.com/notes/zeri-p-bishop/letter-to-100000-strong-for-bringing-back-mega-man-legends-3/205256752856810]here[/link].

"When MML3 was canceled and the Japan DevRoom sealed off, the development team for MML3 made them keep the North American DevRoom open in order to try and gain enough members worldwide in order to continue Development.

Here's the OFFICIAL problem:

Capcom looked at the number of members registered in the MML3 DevRoom as the official number of units they could anticipate to sell if they green-lighted the title for Full Development. The game was never authorized for full time development because the numbers in North America were less than 4500. Which with development costs it was deemed Financially Unacceptable to release the title.

HOWEVER, The DevTeam convinced them to leave the North American Development Room on Capcom-Unity open in an effort to try and generate enough members to change their minds. Also inside the DevRoom is the Official Petition to release the prototype of the game and continue development of the game on a FULL SCALE.

In order to do this however we need your help to spread the word out to your 25,000+ people to do two things.
(The instructions have been edited for the easiest way to do this via Facebook.)

Come on show them that you care and want them to make MML3. Become a Servbot! DON'T JUST CLICK "LIKE" ON FACEBOOK!

1) Click this [link=http://www.capcom-unity.com/go/devroom/about]Link[/link].
2) Click Register
3) Click Facebook
4) Fill out birth date
5) Click Accept
6) Click the Green Plus Mark that will add you to the DevRoom
7) Then the box above it "Become a Servbot."

The numbers here were why it (Mega Man Legends 3) was originally canceled.

After you join the Dev Room as a Servbot you are then permitted to sign the ONLY Capcom recognized Petition for Mega Man Legends 3 [link=http://www.capcom-unity.com/devroom/go/thread/view/114725/28033281/SIGN_HERE_TO_SUPPORT_MML3!!!_CAPCOM_KEEP_YOUR_PROMISE]here[/link].

If you can get your 25,000+ people to all bring up the official headcount in support of the game and sign the petition to bring back the prototype. Capcom will be forced to see the game as profitable again netting in over 5 times the original projected profit and if you can reach your goal of 100,000 as well while getting them to do this the game will have a projected profit of over 20 times the original projections.

Convincing Capcom there is money to be made is one of the fastest ways to get them to green-light the project. This was said by the development team for the game itself.

Please help.

Legends Never Die.

Before you all explode with excitement or scoff it if, this Zeri person's post should be taken with a grain of salt, as he does not explain who told him the prerequisites. However, taking Zeri's suggestion would result nothing lost, other than two-to-three minutes of your time. =)

For those of you wondering, The 100,000 Strong for Bringing Back Mega Man Legends 3 Campaign, otherwise known as [link=http://www.facebook.com/GetMeOffTheMoon]Get Me Off The Moon[/link], is not a petition but a campaign hub aiming for one hundred thousand individuals to join them in an effort to convince Capcom to resume development of the 3DS game. It has already achieved 1/3 of it's goal so far. You can just click on the [link=http://www.facebook.com/GetMeOffTheMoon]URL[/link], log into Facebook, click on "Like" on the lower left side of the page. =

They blamed the fans for the cancellation, you know that right? As in, Capcom stated that it's the fans' fault that they cancelled it because "maybe if more of the fans would get in on it, we'd have finished production", so they're saying that if more fans decide to enter the DevRoom, they might start development up again? God damn it. I just don't even know anymore.

I was never really into legends to begin with, and that's saying a lot considering i'm not much of a original megaman lover either. So I'm just gonna ride with the wind to see if it would be in production after all or not.

No. Legends is done. Mega Man has gone to shit. Capcom f*cking sucks. IF you want to try and bring back Mega Man, just don't support them anymore. I refuse to purchase any product they make. If I can do it anyone can.

They just don't seem to realize our job isn't to constantly give advice and help them make the game, that's their job. I would buy this game in a hearbeat, but I'm not going to log on to the site every day to support it. I've already waited 10 god damn years for it, and now I'm 19 years old and have lots going on in my life. The production of Legends 3 is on the bottom of my to-do list, but if it were to have come out, playing it would be something I would absolutely adore doing. Capcom has no excuse. The higher-ups of the company, that are responsible for ruining it with their new and horrendous renditions of old franchises, decided that Legends 3 wouldn't sell well - so they cancelled production. The garbage company doesn't care about fans, it cares about the dough. Any true Mega Man fan that is still going to support this POS of a company is an idiot. Not only that, they barely even advertised the site; plus the name "DevRoom" doesn't exactly tell me "Come here to help support and make Mega Man Legends 3". Not to mention that the reveal of the game was on a random September day (when school was starting for most). It wasn't announced at any special event or anything like that. It was a molecule on the internet, so nobody knew about it.
