Polyphony Digital hires former Forza Audio Lead

This is pretty huge considering how paltry the sounds in Gran Turismo have been. I know there are a few cars in GT6 that have the new AES audio attached to them, but this should help them take it a step further.

Good, the 787B is the only car I know that sounds closer to the real thing in GT than in Forza, not that the one in Forza doesn't sound awesome. But I can't say I've taken so much note of them in Forza.

Also, not a breath holder but 2016 release is better than 2017.

That's cool. Though I've never been one to care how the cars sound, and I think the embellishment and exaggeration in Forza can often be too much to the point of annoyance, it'll be nice at very least to get more variation.

I'm not completely familiar with AES, but I don't think it's possible to get that oversaturated distortion. The recent additions into GT6 have had full AES audio and they've sounded mostly good, but a title on the PS4 should show more improvement since there's no need to compress files like the PS3 needs.
