Instead of making a thread....Are Michael and Buffy Waltrip still together?

A while back I heard Waltrip and Buffy was having problems long before his drunk driving incident. And after the incident is pretty much when it all came apart. But I have heard no more about it. Was it during the 500 when Waltrip was giving Valentine shout outs but none mentioned his wife?[face_thinking]

You know I was wondering the same thing myself. I haven't heard anything about a divorce. But I also haven't heard anything about them being together either....

I've got no idea. Last I heard about anything between them was back in 2007 I think. No clue whatsoever.

Wasn't there something about him wanting to sell his house and stuff because of their problems?

wasn't it established that the reason the previous ct kept running away was because pef had the last post and his posts kept getting deleted? [face_thinking] then why not leave pef's posts alone until someone else makes a post? :^O

Which, no disrespect to Kane, because I know he has other things happening in his life. Could mean we have someone who can react a little faster to Pefs BS.

I wish I could really make someone race in a pink puppy sponsored car...although I think I'd put Scott Speed behind it..I mean he needs some kind of attention, right?..

Van woke up one day and declared himself 'President of the NASCAR Board' about three years ago.

Democracy? No. Dictatorship? Yes.

There is a little bit of truth to both sides. At the time, I was the President of everything else that I was involved with, so I decided to appoint myself to the non-office here on IGN as well.

Later, when the illegitimacy of my Presidency was called into question, I staged a pseudo-election. I really didn't care about winning and hardly anyone cared to vote. I think that I ran the election, which in effect would have made it null and void from the start.

Either way, it was all just a bunch of bull and held no weight whatsoever. Although, I would like to stay in contact with those of You from the forum that are actual racing fans. In the event that we catch our big break, we may have a few pit passes available for race weekends from time to time.

I may be a bit of an asshat on occasion, but I still like to give back when I can.

Bad News: So does everyone else that is begging me for pit passes

Well, your personal life probably takes priority over a message board, but if you do happen to have extras (that you'd be willing to give [or sell] to me), just let me know. I'll gladly accept. [face_tongue]

Mini: Absolutely! I would love going to a Canadian pub!

Twilight (dude, that name is ubber-sketch now BTW): Are You planning on attending the Food City Family Race Night festivities? I know that we are participating in Knoxville on the Thursday before the race. We are also scheduled for some type of appearance in Bristol on Friday, but I'm not sure what yet.

We spent part of the day at JR Motorsports shooting the breeze with Richard Boswell II (JR's roommate) and Willie Jackson (JR's stepfather) for an hour or so. Needless to say, JR's No.88 Impala looks worse in person than it did on TV. He wasn't kidding when he said that it was completely trashed. They pulled the seat from it, but that's about it. That thing was DEMOLISHED at Daytona!

Yeah, of course I'll be there. Also, a question - exactly what team/company do you work for? [face_tongue]

Dale: Well not yet. Your mom said she wasn't completely 100% sure you'll be here for that, but I might be wrong. Anyway though, those can be bought at the gate on the day of. It's only $5 though so its no big deal. (Its both Family Race Night and Cup Qualifying)

I am working through my own company, but my main client focus is Jake Crum, winner of the 2009 Bailey's 300 @ Martinsville Speedway. We have signed a 2-year driver development contract with Venturini Motorsports of the ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menard's.

Our race team, Team Crum Racing, currently has a race-ready NASCAR K&N Pro Series East car for the season opener at Greenville Pickens Speedway, as well as two NASCAR Camping World Trucks. One of the trucks is for short tracks, while the other can be used for intermediate tracks. Our 2010 schedule will depend entirely upon sponsorship, which at this point is virtually non-existent.

The story is pretty much the same across the board in the sport; money is tight. We had a sponsor/investor that was all gung-ho about jumping on board for the full East schedule, as well as the televised ARCA races, but then they virtually disappeared. We have a top-of-the-line driver suit and racing helmet decked out in their insignia, at their expense, but we hit a brick wall from there.

We still have 5-1/2 weeks until the East season opener, so anything can happen between now and then. We could end up running a few late model races and a limited East schedule, or we could end up running a combination of East-ARCA-Truck races if a sponsor comes on board to back us.
