NHL 14 had some great music like Live It Up by Airbourne and Hatlem by New Politics. As for NHL 15, a mix of genres can make the soundtrack as good as the actual games on new features including new broadcasting team. Here are some songs to be considered in the game. Feel free making comments & suggestion on what you wanted to hear.

Worst soundtrack to an NHL game ever! It needs more Hard Rock/Metal, the only heaviest in this soundtrack is Wolfmother. Too bad Sony won't let me to rip my CD's to my PS4 so I could make a better soundtrack of my own.

There's MLB 15 the Show coming in March 2015 that will bring at least couple Heavy Metal music incluing Rise Against & Wolfmother

No way NHL 14 was the worst soundtrack by far. I like how they mixed it up but it sucks its not the actual soundtrack and just in arena music thats played. When Heroes x Villians comes on during the faceoff i get jacked up but again not everyone is going to agree
