Somewhere along the line I got misled. I don't believe my new SSD is going to fit in my box. Advice?

This is as far down the rabbit hole of PC construction as I can fit.

When I first installed one, I spent five minutes looking for the slot even though my MB manual had a diagram. :^O

It is a M.2 hard drive. Which are pretty much the fastest drives for consumer PC's. So it does not use the SATA standard.

It should be extremely easy to install--once you find the damn slot. That's usually the hardest part with these new drives. Sometimes it is under the motherboard, which can be a pain.

Yeah, I finally found the slot. The hard part was removing the TINY screw and then trying to get it back in the hole to hold the SSD in place. Don't drop the screw! AAAH! How am supposed to fit these old fingers down in there? [face_hypnotized]

But I pit-bulled it, and it's up and running finally. Old dog, new trick. :)
