Multiplayer Rank Question - Uncharted 3 (GOTY)

I currently own Uncharted 3 and am planning on getting the GOTY edition.

In doing so, will my rank start back at 1?

Or since it's the "same" game and same PSN ID, will it just take over the original edition?
