[hl=white] New to the Metal Gear Board? [/hl]

[image=http://www.brice.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/Help1.gif]

Welcome to the Metal Gear Solid Board. There are a few guidelines for posting here that are designed to make the board as enjoyable as possible for everyone involved – please read these before posting, and also check out IGN’s [link=http://www.ign.com/board_rules.html]Board Rules[/link].

Spam/Off-Topic Posts: Simple rule, if it's not adding to discussion, don't post it. If you spam continuously, you may be banned. If you feel the need to post something off-topic, or feel like general chatting, we have a [link=http://boards.ign.com/metal_gear_solid/b5200/89414534/p1/]Community Thread[/link] for this. Also, please refrain from posting topics such as "Look what I did today!" or "Look what I found". These can become very annoying.

Flaming/Bashing/Trolling: Please don't flame or bash other users. You can argue a point without personally attacking anyone. Trolling for negative responses is not acceptable. Both of these offenses are punishable with heavy bans, so we suggest you refrain from them altogether. Every user here deserves to be treated fairly and with respect. If anyone is found not respecting others, please inform a mod rather than adding fuel to the fire yourself.

Language: You should all know the routine here. If not, please check the [link=http://www.ign.com/board_rules.html]Board Rules[/link] for a more detailed explanation. If you feel the need to use profanity, please censor the entire word.

Spoilers:You will get banned if you post a spoiler without a warning. No gamer deserves to have their game ruined because of a spoiler. If your thread contains spoilers, say so in the subject line, and make it clear which game the spoilers are referring to. If you're posting spoilers in an existing thread, please hide them with [ hl=black ] and [ /hl ] tags (remove the spaces). This pertains to old and new games alike - some users are playing older games for the first time, so please respect that.

Game Help: Of course when a new game is released, some people get the hang of it faster than others. Please post help topics with caution upon new release of a game and check to see if your question may have been answered in another thread. Tons of help topics covering the same issues become very annoying. Also, please don't bump your topic every minute to keep it at the top of a page. Sometimes it takes a few hours to get a response.

LFAMT: The [link=http://boards.ign.com/message.asp?topic=24938550]"Looking For A Mod Thread"[/link] is an essential tool. Use this thread if there's a problem; it's a big time-saver, especially if no board mod is around.

Repeat Topics: As briefly discussed before, chances are the topic you posted may have been posted before by another user. Please look over the first few pages to check to see if your topic or question has been posted or answered before. If not, feel free to post your topic or question. Multiple threads about the same topic will generally be locked to minimise clutter.

Rumours: Rumours can get annoying. If you want to post speculation about an upcoming game, either provide a source for your information or mark it clearly as a rumour.

8.3(PSP)

Short description:
Retelling the story of the original Metal Gear Solid, the Digital Graphic Novel isn't really a game; but more like a visual interactive experience that depicts the incidents of Shadow Moses in a graphic novel format. Upon viewing the comic, the player can open a "scanning" interface to search for characters and items in a three dimensional view. Discoveries are added to a database which can be traded with other players via Wi-Fi. The "mission mode" allows the player to add collected information into a library.
