KOTOR II - Sith Academy Re-Entry

So, I haven't played this game in a long long time. I just defeated the shryak cave tomb and remembered that I forgot to look at the holocron in the academy before fleeing Sion. The doors to the academy are currently locked.

Does anyone remember if these doors unlock after a certain amount of time?
