Is fable 1 better than 2?

I ask this because I have not played 1 yet but I have played 2 and I loved every minute of it. I have not played 3 nor have I heard amazing things about it. So I was wondering which one is the best, and if I am missing out on a great game. I do own it by the way including the lost chapters, I have just not played it yet.

yes, if you can find Fable: The lost chapters on the original Xbox, you will be a very very happy gamer. Blows the sequel out of the water.

I barely remember the first one, but I DO remember it had the best chain lightning spell ever. I kinda wanna replay it just so I can fry everything on my screen.
