I'm actually getting worse

I don't get it. After I set the matchmaking to same skill I started winning more matches and have been doing so for the past couple of days. Today I can't win a match to save my life and the few times I do get close to winning the game conveniently starts lagging *coughlagswitchcough*.

My main is Akuma.

I never really trusted that system. I actually don't know how they really based it.

But my guess(es) there just wasn't enough in your bracket, so the next bracket up they paired you with.
or, they may be ranked low, but are actually good SF players. Learning a new, or reset their history.
or, you were just having a bad night and your game wasn't as on as you think it was.
