I used to be confused as to why Link's stash at the bank transfers with time travel. Recently it has dawned on me that Link carries his stamp on him through time. So the banker sees the stamp with Link's name that has presumably been updated with whatever Link's last balance was.
This means that in each new cycle of time, when Link withdraws money, he does not do so based on money he himself has actually donated in the cycle, but rather based on the balance on his stamp that he carries through time. So Link is fraudulently stealing money from the bank!
