HP 1-4 - Year 2 Hogwarts before Crabbe & Goyle

HI - I'm really struggling to get a lego model of the slytherin snake put together in the Hogwarts section before entering the Crabbe & Goyle level. I have 'spoken' to the snake in front of the doors, so it is now in pieces. I',=m trying to build the snake onto the plinth, but have dropped one of the lego pieces and it won't let me pick it back up again to move it It jsut keeps lifting itself, falling, flashing then disappearing and starting this all over again, and again and again......

Any ideas how to get round this glitch?

I'm on Wii. When things like this happen, quit the game, but do not save it. If you have already saved, try moving the piece to a different location using Harry's body to push it; then use Leviosa. Also, if you're using the pointer, try using the Z button instead (when the cloud of pink appears around the object), and the round button on the nunchuk to move it into place. Hope this helps.
