Hey all, I need some help because when I try to grow a long hair my hair ends up looking like a seventies popstar guy hair, far from metal... Should I cut it in the back to let the frontal hair grow to reach the same length as the back? Somehow my hair on the front is too short and the back is growing really fast. Any ideas on creating a Chuck Schuldiner style hair? Or a James Hetfield (mid-carreer) type of hair? I don't know which one would suit my hair, mine is lightbrown (almost blonde) and straight/slightly wavy. Sorry for the stupid question, I'm just new to hair growing.
Regards

U just need to let it grow. If you brush your hair every once in a wile that helps it going downwards. But its genes that determine what type of hair you have

really overdue for a trim to get rid of some split ends. it's been years lol but i'm so lazy and pandemic haircut seems so weird

i'm also afraid my hairline is receding faster than anticipated

but some days I still look pretty :)
