How many bad guys?

I am playing #2 on PS Plus.

How many different bad guy types are there. I am on "22. Joseph Bertrand" and I keep facing swamp monsters and the militia. They are fun to battle but very repetitive battling the same people.

Each 'faction' (militia and swamp creatures) has multiple enemy types. Keep playing and you'll eventually get to the ice conduits, which are more challenging.
