Help me understand the Marksman sights on the Recurve bow?

Explain to me, like I'm 5 how to use the fucking marksman sight on the recurve bow.

How do I judge distances?

Regarding the crosshairs, the top one is basically dead on, zero, the second one is 50M, the third one is 80M and the last one is 100M (at the very bottom of the scope).

I think I'm overshooting everything because I'm judging it to be further away than it actually is. I've heard laying down a waypoint to get distances can really help here, but is there any guide to making 80M or 100M shots?

How do I judge distances?

It just takes practice. Yeah, you can mark a waypoint to help you judge distances, but with being so far away you have to time your breathing. You can be dead-red and still miss wide due to your breathing.
