Colin Cowherd went on a tirade. He said of all the great college basketball programs, Kentucky has produced nothing but head cases and underwhelming players.

UCLA's best NBA lineup has 9 rings, North Carolina's has produced 12 rings. Kentucky best pros has produced 0 rings.

Only Duke has a comparable underwhelming program with legendary status.

Also LSU has produced three players that are arguably better than anything Kentucky has produced.

Kentucky has given the NBA four of the 20-best players in the world right now (Davis, Wall, Cousins, Towns). No other college can say the same. This is a vendetta that Cowherd has stretching back to his racist comments about Wall not having a father figure in his life which led to such grave moral failings as dougie'ing at his rookie debut.

As for Kentucky's historical players, the school does have its share of busts (Alex Groza, Rick Robey, Sam Bowie, Melvin Turpin, Kenny Walker). But I don't know what our "best" lineup is supposed to be. Tayshaun Prince and Antoine Walker won rings, and UK produced several ABA legends in the 70s. Jamal Mashburn was an All-Star and a fan favorite for 90s kids.

If the point is that it's a bit disappointing that the greatest college basketball program of all time doesn't have a Michael Jordan or even a James Worthy, then fine. It's an anomaly, but fine. But the fact that Calipari's phenoms haven't turned around their terrible franchises after getting drafted high every year isn't a good argument, especially when one of them is bound to win it all one of these years down the road.

You sound triggered like Colin.

Yeah. Cowherd is a piece of shit for a lot of reasons besides him being a Wall/Calipari/Kentucky hater.
