Hello Der. Stress Awareness Day and Stress Awareness Month is sponsored by the Health Resource Network(HRN). They started this holiday in 1992, to increase public awareness of the causes and cures of stress. Paying your taxes, due today, should relieve some of that stress. Nothing like rendering unto Caesar to perk it all up.

Also, Bat Appreciation Day. Gardeners, pick up a bag or two of guano to feed your flowers and vegetables. It’s a great fertilizer.

World Penguin Day a time to wear black and white—penguin colors. However, wearing a tuxedo in their honor is optional. It is also popular today to tell a penguin joke or two. Brrrr-illiant jokes make good ice breakers.
Why should you not write a book on penguins?
Because writing a book on paper is much easier

Richter Scale Day April 26 holiday celebrates the birth of the inventor of the Richter Scale. Born on April 26, 1900, American seismologist Charles F. Richter (1900–1985) invented the Richter Scale in 1935.

^ it’s interesting how easy it was to get something named after you then compared to now. All you needed to do was invent a number scale, or be like 0=freezing, 100=boiling im a genius. These days you’d have to invent a new method of matching dna sequence fragments or discover a new particle in physics or something

Well, you could just have a kid named after you. Or you could donate family papers to a county museum and name the collection after you.

Tis a terrific Tuesday. International Jazz Day. The other IJD, 30 April, UN established, is past and today is time to revel in the glorious history of the art form.
