Been playing dark souls for the first time on switch and absolutely loving it. So far I'm a soul lvl 38 Dex/Pyro (shush i love fast weapons) and I've just beat Quelaag, been playing with estoc +5 and it's awesome, love the reach and cheeky backstabs (beat gargoyles, capra demon and gaping dragon first try) but I'm wondering whether estoc is okay late game? Not sure if i should go pick up the Great Scythe or something before tackling Sen's fortress because estoc feels a lil underpowered against the snake guys and i don't want to keep upgrading if it's gonna screw me up for late game
