Oh, thank you! No offense to the DC animated movies or the voice actors involved, but neither Green Lantern: First Flight or the new Green Lantern movie have a very good voice for him. This is PERFECT!

Finally! Perfect casting for MCD in a comic book movie! Hopefully his performance in this will make us forget about the poor decision to give him the role of Wilson Fisk.

My feelings exactly man, I thought they were done with the film, great choice of voice for Kilowog, but still not hyped for this movie

Every movie that has had a great trailer this year has been a MASSIVE disappointment (Sucker Punch cough cough Battle:LA cough) I'm hoping the lackluster trailer somehow equals awesome movie. Green Lantern deserves one!

The costume, however, is a projection of the ring itself (via the user) so to me it makes complete sense why the suit is entirely CG. The ring does not produce exact replications of whatever it is projecting meaning that if a GL produces a giant hammer, the giant hammer does not look like an enlarged hammer from your toolbox. Instead it looks like a giant green hammer created purely by the will of its user. In keeping with this thought, the suit therefore should not look like it is produced from cloth/fabric/rubber because that is not what the ring does--it is not a Star Trek-esque replicator.

Here I was getting excited about it and now I find out they're still casting voice actors?!?! WTF DC? I mean even Captain America is feeling like a complete movie at this point and it comes out a month after Green Lantern! Isn't this supposed to prove that DC has successful characters besides Batman and Superman? At this point I was hoping to see more promotion.Of course there's that awful trailer to remind me why I shouldn't get excited.

Duncan is good, but I'm inclined to believe either he's already been working on it or he's not the man doing the voice. The video game trailer had a perfect voice for Kilowog. It sounded alot like Keith Michael Richardson.

as unlikely as it is I'd prefer they kept the casting of Henry Rollins as with the new animated movie he seems like a great fit for this roll to me.

@ Reinlprime

My thoughts exactly. Everyone is complaining about the CG suit but I actually have no problem with it. At least its not a god awful leather one like in Daredevil. I am actually really excited for this movie. Sure the trailer was a little lackluster but I think it also shows us the potential that this movie has for being great. It's not gonna be as good as batman, that's for sure. But most movies aren't. You can't expect every single movie that comes out to be as great as the best. The reason that it is the best is that few movies can actually do what it did. So I'm going into this movie not with the expectation that its gonna be as good as batman but with the expectation that I will be thorouhly entertained and the movie sticks to the way green lantern is portrayed in the comics. If it does that, then it is a success in my books.

The thing that annoys me more than the suit is the constructs/lantern energy. They could have made those the most original and eye-popping visual effects seen in a long time. But it just looks like green fire. Think something along the lines of the visuals of tron legacy. The way the vehicles and planes built up out of constructs would have looked PERFECT for a green lantern movie.

Why don't they have Dennis Haysbert aka The Allstate guy aka President David Palmer,
do it since he is the one who does the voice work anyway?

@Icecreamkilla - agreed. It's like they took effects from Dragonball Evolution (also lame) and colored it green.

I doubt it makes/breaks the movie. If it does, what a weak movie it's going to be.

im positive he was already doing voice work before this whole thing was brought to our attention. all i can say is i want them to take there time because i would rather wait till august to get a great film. i have faith in martin cambel because i never cared for james bond but when i saw casino royale my options on the charachter changed alot.
