Anyone ever tried these? Do they really give you more control?

I got a pair of DC Chicane shoes, when Ken Block released them years ago. I think I have worn them maybe 5 times in the car and yes, they did make a difference especially with the clutch control. I got the white pair below.

That pair, no. DC has other models now similar, but I'm happy with the old pair I have.

I dunno. I've been doing it since I first learned how to drive (MT jeep) at 13. I spent a few years in the Philippines. A lot of people drive there wearing flip flops.

I think it is. Driving barefoot is illegal.
