Does enemy handicap activate in bloody palace mode?

It's hard playing as Trish in bloody palace, failed several times in 80+ stages. What a waste of time. Trying to get the achievement for beating with all characters. Trish is just terrible gameplay wise. And capcom, why no super character for Trish!
