Loved this episode, although I preferred The Pyramid At The End Of The World. Pearl Mackie gave the performance of the series.

Didn't like using Bill's mom as an excuse for bad exposition dumps, really didn't like the 1-2 punch of the cliche power-of-love and reset button endings, didn't buy that the Monks are so absurdly powerful that they could pull all this off (including magically fixing the Doctor's sight because...they can, shut up) and yet run away from a planet that can't possibly fight them, nor that they could have pulled this shit for years and the Doctor has never heard of them but Missy has, etc.

I'm not upset that it wasn't Mondas but I would have preferred that this was just another simulation. Speaking of which, what was the point of Extremis again when they have a seemingly invincible ship?

At this point, I'm just waiting to see if the Doctor is stupid enough to believe anything Missy has been saying, along with how they plan on cramming Simm into this.
