I thought it would be saturday like normal, but forgot it was on christmas day. Luckily it aired again this morning and I just finished watching it.
For me that was the best episode of the year, and probably the best episode so far that Peter was in.

My favourite parts...

Seeing the doctor laughing was just awesome. I started laughing too at the sight of it. And then near the end when river went to the balcony it dawned on me from past episodes that this was where we were about to see the doctor cry.
But then that last couple of lines about how long a night is there. Perfect happy ending!

Even if Hell Bent hadn't sucked, this still would have been a good note to end 2015 on.

I'm so glad we got to see the Singing Towers. You don't bring that up in the introduction of River and simply not show it.
