I just read an article on IGN that states that in order for 400 Days to work, you need to have at at least Episode 1 installed on your game system for it to work. My question is, do I need to reinstall the 1st season, or will be physical disc copy work, and it will take my game save and be tailored from that experience?
Do I need to install the entire 1st season or will the disc version work?

I would imagine that if you bought the game in Disc form instead of the Download, as long as you have the Disc info on your System and the game save Data you'll be fine.
And from what I understand, The choices that you made through the 1st season DO carry through to the New Ep AND to Season 2.
