Can you select chapters?

I like searching for matches and just join in and work with others.
Well I was on chapter one and the last part by myself.

Well I played with random players and one group happen to get to my point and beat the boss. But, the thing is, they skipped ALL the dialouge after you kill the guy and so now I'm in a village and I have no clue why. I would like to go back and do the boss myself and try out the chat and understand wahts going on.

Is there any way I alone can go back chapters. Or must i play with players that are on older chapters?

That's frustrating! You can check your saved games to see if there's one you can go back to, rather than starting from scratch. Or, you could just ask!
