Huge news on the boards front!
Our engineers have finally finished getting our boards ready for upgrade. We will be upgrading the biggest installation of XenForo in the world this Thursday September 11.
What's that mean for you? Well, this is how things will play out:
1) The boards will be down from 11-Sep at 5pm PDT through 13-Sep at 5pm PDT
2) Through out the upgrade, the boards will be READ ONLY. Meaning you can read things but can't post or edit
3) When you are finally able to use the boards again, you'll notice about an hour's worth of wonkiness. That means maybe some features won't work or styles on the site will be broken. It shouldn't take long for all that to settle and function within the hour
Then you can just enjoy the new boards! Here is a list of new features that will be added:
1) A new editor with drag and drop, image paste support, user tagging
2) More responsive design (we aren’t fully responsive, we need new responsive headers still, but should work OK on your mobile device)
3) Support for watching a forum
4) Conversation management improvements
6) Twitter embed is fixed
7) MultiQuote - Easily quote multiple threads (even from multiple forums)
8) Spoiler BB Code
9) Editor toolbar adjustments
10) Last but not least: 100k star added for 100k posts
