tried to log on PSO2 and computer keeps freezing right after intro trailer, doesn't matter if I skip it or watch entire thing. I get a black screen and computer does nothing
Anyone else issues getting on PSO2 today?

Are you using the translation patch? If so it sounds like you have an older version that is no long compatible with the current update. The current patch can be found here: http://psumods.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=206
If that still doesn't solve your problem then you will want to run a file check. This can be done by launching the client and click the third button from top labeled "フアイルチエツク”.

If you are using the old translation patch (i don't even use any) then you need the new one. For any other reasons, run up scans and have the update be repatched. Last way to fix it is either remove the English patch or redownload.

okay now I can play game without translation patch, but I still freezes right after trailer just before title screen
can anyone give me step by step instructions on installing translation patch? I've removed, updated and reinstalled but cannot get patch to work. but atleast the game stopped freezing
