Any fixes for the game-breaking fog wall glitch?

Ok so this has happened to me now 10 times in a ROW. The first time I went against the Dancer of Boreal Valley (DkS3) I successfully got in with two mates, ever since my summons are unable to cross the fog wall, if Im lucky one will make it the other wont. I have wasted SO many embers and its getting quite infuriating. I know, not really game-breaking but that definitely sounds sexier than annoying glitch.

I have purchased all the embers from every possible vender and farmed many and am at my wits end. Does ANYONE have any helpful tips or info? Ways to get around this or avoid it? Thanks.

Oh and something to note, it seems like the people who cant cross tend to be sun bros, and Ive read other threads and noticed many people mention they were Sun Warriors so I think its possible that this could affect it? I dont know if its just coincidence, or maybe Im just reaching for an answer, but searching has provided no answers, hoping someone has an idea of what the root cause of this is.

Learn how to fight alone. It's not as if the bosses in this game are tough.
-ha, Bloodborne's bosses are about 100 times tougher.
