im sorry c. lemons i didn't know that all their songs were stricktly under the stoner reggae genre.

in fact ive never even heard of that genre and now that i am trying to look it up i can't seem to find any info on it. weird.

however of the 10 resources i just looked at they all say supervillains are ska/reggae/punk
hmmm...
now if u looked at my site u would know that i posted the supervillains on September 8, 2009 and under genre i put: ska/reggae/punk.
now i could have taken the time to put, "who is everyone's favorite ska/reggae/punk band," on these forums but i didn't know genre specifics were so important.

i thought it was more about enjoying the music?

in fact now that i think about it thers
stoner rock
stoner metal
etc..
just no stoner reggae

i think c. lemons the problem here is that u have just used an adjective in front of a real music genre and tried to make it your own but got owned in the process

Now i don't give a **** wat music genre a band is, i listen 2 it for the music
so in that case enjoy ur "ska reggae"

good luck with everthing c. lemons

peace

no i am not very wrong.

what makes a ska band?

Hint:It isn't uppicking and horns

I take it back, somewhat. The song I listened to originally wasn't ska/reggae but the other stuff had more of an influence there.
Either way they're pretty generic and not very good

since mephisto is gone i have to take over as the resident ska elitist. just doing my job

also stop promoting your blog here noone cares

The Italian ska band Talco is pretty good.
Combat Circus - free download from Jamendo
http://www.jamendo.com/en/album/4818

I used to hate ska, now I'm just largely indifferent. I listen to some gypsy/klezmer punk with brass though.

if you want ska don't listen to any f the above because they aren't ska.

Check out The Skatalites, Prince Buster, Toots and the Maytals, early Bob Marley stuff, Desmond Dekker, Laurel Aitken, Hepcat

Ska, ska punk, ska/core, whatever.

I skank to it, I enjoy it.

Hey, I'm not saying this stuff is bad. I just feel obligated to be the local ska elitist. There has to be one on any forum where people talk about ska.
