The first Zelda game I played and I loved it. Plenty of replayability and the length of the game allows for fun reruns. Accessible enough for my younger siblings to enjoy without much video game experience, which the art style invites. The story and the gameplay evolve and change together in a way that keeps you engaged throughout.
You don’t need to have played the first game to play this game, but if you have it extends nicely on the original without feeling like it repeats everything in regards to level design and challenge. A decently long game with not tons of replayability unless you’re looking to relive a great game.
A unique take on turn based combat that thrives in the world of Mario and is enlivened by the one of a kind art style. The best combat of the Mario rpg’s of what I’ve played and the story keeps you engaged with entertaining backdrops and areas.
One of the greatest 2-D platformers I’ve played. Easy to get into skill wise but also provides a high skill ceiling to challenge you once you’re deep into the game. The different character skins make it fun to switch things up and allow for a great multi player experience. Definitely a fun game to play with players of various skill levels, as it allows for fun regardless of expertise.
