first time I bought an MLB game since '20, so I can't speak to how different it is from the immediate previous edition which is what a lot of people's gripe tends to be with sports games (mine included). It does feel like a significant improvement over the last edition I played in terms of content and modes, which is great, I definitely appreciate that there's a lot of stuff to do, although most of that is online/Diamond Dynasty based. Hitting and pitching feel solid, no complaints there.
Road to the Show still feels lackluster compared to career modes in NBA 2K for example, but I appreciated the addition of the female player. I have a baby sister and I've never seen her happier than when she got to play as herself in the mode.
super unique take on puzzles, probably my favorite in the genre since the portal games. soundtrack is beautiful as well, and the story is pretty fun for what it needs to be.
the ability to play user stages means there's replayability to it as well.
Not at all a fan of extreme sports or such—got the game for $5 out of curiosity. Didn't dislike it but Steep did more for me back when that came out, as an outsider to this world
