III. |===Introduction===|
I sat around and I really wanted a good walkthrough, so I decided to start from the very beginning. The game was relatively easy considering the abundance of weapons, good moves, allies, and the surplus of health items, and yet there were times were I actually had to think to find out what I was doing. One reason I made this walkthrough/ FAQ was so that when I come back to play this game I have my own notes, and hopefully I won't be stuck again. There are cheat codes for this game, which to a point make the game a blast. If you go crazy with the cheats then the game becomes much easier and the game will end within a few hours. Anyway let's just get started. I have played the game approx. 4 times going through this thing, and I still have a long way to go so please bear with me.
IV. |===Game Introduction===|
At first glance, the Leaf Village appears to be maintaining the peace with a military strength that dominates the other nations... However, beneath the surface, a crisis is drawing near. Troubling incidents recur near the village, and Orochimaru is clearly seeking to destabilize it through various wicked plots. In response, the village leaders decide they must temporarily rely on an extreme measure. In order to supplement a military strength that is running short, Genin, who would normally be assigned C-rank missions or lower, are now given more difficult missions, according to their ability. Thus, even the youngest Genin are burdened with a portion of the village's fate. Some struggle with the weight of the responsibility, while others are thrilled, feeling this a chance to prove their abilities. None more so than Naruto Uzumaki!
--------------- The Basics: Health- Don't let your health get to 0. When it gets low enough you can access the Nine Tailed Fox's power.
Stamina- Charging chakra takes stamina. You can recover this by picking up the blue orbs.
Nine-Tail Fox Gauge- As you hit your enemies with combos your rage will increase and unlock the Nine-Tailed Fox's power. When the gauge is filled enough the bar on the bottom of the screen will glow red, and when your health gets low enough you can push (triangle)+ O to access the power. In this mode you have unlimited stamina so keep bringing those shadow clones out, as well as performing your power strike. After the Fox Mode (as I will call it) is finished, you will regain your stamina if you did not end with a jutsu. Since this is only available when health is low I suggest going to the camp menu and heal.
Virtue- Points earned for completing missions, and defeating enemies. Use virtue to buy Skill Chips. Collect virtue by collecting the yellow orbs dropped by enemies after defeat.
Skill Chips- can raise health, stamina, ninjutsu or taijutsu power. Also gives Naruto extra abilities. See Skill Chip section for more details.
V. |===Basic Movements===|
In the beginning of the game, before you start, you can choose to take a tutorial, but it is your choice since the very first thing after the game introduction is Kakashi's Tutorial (is the same tutorial either way). I suggest you do the tutorial just to get used to the game if it is your first time. Also remember to look at your booklet since all the controls are in there. For now that is what you will have to do since I want to get a move on. When I do, do the controls they will be for the PS2.
VI. |===Characters===|
Naruto Uzumaki- R1- Shadow Clone Jutsu R2- Power Strike R1+R2 (At same time)- Sexy Jutsu R1+(R1+R2)- Harem Jutsu (First send out shadow clones by using R1 then while they are still out and close to enemies push R1+R2 for Naruto and all the clones to use Sexy Jutsu at once)
Sasuke Uchiha- R1- Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu R2- Chidori
Shikamaru Nara- R1- Trap Kunai (fire kunai when near an enemy, but throws mines on ground when not locked on to someone, and not aiming at someone) R2- Shadow Possession Jutsu
Choji Akimichi- R1- Human Boulder R2- Partial Expansion Jutsu
Neji Hyuga- R1- Rotation R2- 8 Trigrams 64 Palms
*Kakashi Hatake- R1- Lightning Blade R2- A Thousand Years of Death
*Gaara- R1- Sand Coffin R2- Sand Wall
*Can only be used as an ally after beating the game once. However, there is an exception to Kakashi as he accompanies you on one mission.
VII. |===Walkthrough===|
There are essentially three types of missions: 1. The first is a mission where you can only fail if you die. (but you can die on any mission and fail) 2. The second is where time runs out then you fail but continue. 3. And then the third is when you fail due to lack of security for carts etc. but continue. --------------------------------------- Mission 1: Delivery Service Rank: D
Objective: Transport food items from the Hidden Leaf Village to Tanzaku Town and deliver them to the waiting trader. You may be attacked in transit, so be careful.
Method: This mission somewhat easy. First leave the village and get to the map screen, move the kunai cursor to the red dot. Along the way you will be attacked 3 times at most. In each battle there are 5 ninjas, all who are defeated easily except the one with the hat that might take a few more punches. To defeat them use combos (square 4 times, triangle moves), and if the ninjas are all in a bunch use your Sexy Jutsu (R1+R2). Try pick up all the little orbs, and items you see before the screen changes.
Reward: 200 Virtue, Rations C x5 Round 2 Reward: 200 Virtue, Rations C x5 ----------------------
***You are returned to the village and your health/stamina are restored. Notice that new skill chips are available. See Skill Chip/ Skill plate section. Save before you leave for each mission...or save right after you have accepted the mission, but have not left the town yet***
---------------------- Mission 2: Shop Assistant Rank: D
Objective: A request for help has come from the only source of Ninja Tools in the village, "Emporium Karin". Go to the shop, learn the owner's situation, and help restore the business.
Method: You are given some weapons from the owner. See weapons section for details. Now just go walking around. I suggest walking to East Town to South Town to Tanzaku Town and then go to long way back to the village. This should be more than you need to go, if not go around another time you may pick up some weapons, as well as earn virtue, which you will soon need lots and lots, see the game intro for details on virtue. If you return to town you can choose to "ask around," or you can visit the general store (BTW everytime you enter the village your health and stamina is restored). If you ask around and people don't know what the store is, or basically don't like it then you need to do more advertising. If you go to the general store, she will tell you that you need to advertise more or if you have advertised enough then you complete the mission.
Reward: 400 virtue, Recovery (Skill chip) Round 2 Reward: 400 virtue, Dual Bx1 --------------- ***TIPS*** 1. When not on a mission you can walk around and battle if you're attacked, this way you can practice fighting. 2. Weapons are very useful, but they go fast. Keeping distance between you and your enemy is helpful, but sometimes you need to get close so practice fighting with both weapons and all your jutsu. 3. If you are in tall grass find an open area that way you can easily locate the dropped orbs, and lure out your opponents. 4. If you are low on stamina you can break fences in some areas on the map for free orbs, or you can push start at any time and use a ration (stamina), or medicine (health). 5. SEARCH THE ENTIRE LEVEL FOR CHESTS CONTAINING SPECIAL SKILL CHIPS!!!! (Can I stress this anymore?) 6. Did you know you can increase your maximum health or stamina by pushing start, selecting abilities spending virtue of either health or stamina? --------------- Mission 3: The Missing Tamasaburo Rank: C
Objective: The famous Tamasaburo candy has suddenly disappeared from shops. The village sweet-tooths are in an uproar, and Anko, the elite Jonin, has taken ill from shock. Find the Tamasaburo in order to restore her health.
Method: Visit the general store, and do whatever you can to get fire kunai (my personally favorite weapon, or whatever you please). Then head out onto the map go to the red dot (This should become routine for you so I won't mention it anymore.) You will visit all three towns, and then Choji will accompany you to the top of the mountain. You can use him as your ally by pressing L2 during battle. You can then access his jutsu the same way as Naruto's. After the first battle (after the cut scene) Naruto and Choji will chase them down. Here battle the pink ninjas (they are fast and like to guard), and the hat ninjas, and follow the path up past the big boulder and find a chest break it for Medicine C x5. Then go back to the boulder call out Choji and use R1 on the boulder (just keep rolling into it until it breaks) you will get the flower. Go back to South Town, then head towards the village. Choji snaps from hunger and attacks you. --------------- ***TIPS*** 1. You can access the "camp menu" (start button) during any battle and use items to restore health 2. You won't increase your Nine-Tail Fox power if you only use weapons. 3. You can use substitution jutsu by pushing X at the exact moment when someone or weapon hits you. Not on all attacks however, but can prove useful in almost any battle. 4. On the loading screen, if you move the analog stick as fast as possible a blue chakra orb may fall out (it restores your stamina remember?) --------------- * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Choji
Moves- Human Boulder Partial Expansion Jutsu Expansion jutsu Throws Flame Bomb Continuous Jumping Boulder Jutsu Human Needle Boulder
The Human Boulder, and flame bombs are easier to avoid, just keep moving. He is easier if you just throw fire kunai at him, but if you want to get close use any jutsu you please, but be warned the Partial Expasion Jutsu will cause decent damage and send you flying across the arena. Expansion jutsu just makes him fat and pushes you out of the way, and lessens your damage to him. Take advantage of jumping. If you have not done so already push start and put some skill chips into your skill plate (see section for details). Needle boulder comes in around half way trhough the battle and is stronger than the human boulder. The Continuous Jumping Boulder Jutsu is a more powerful boulder move. It will follow you around, but once again just keep moving. The Power Strike is effective against most enemies. Make sure you are locked on (L1) otherwise it will miss. I suggest locking onto him, running away hold R2 for the power strike to charge then run in and let it rip. The closer you are the more damage you give. If you are comfortable with risking your life get close and (Triangle)/(Square) combo him. If you must you can go fox mode.
Beat him, and pick up as much as you can. * * * * * * * * * * After you beat him you complete the mission, and end back at the village.
Reward: 500 virtue, Kunai (Skill plate) Round 2 Reward: 500 virtue, Dual Bx1
----------------- ***NOTE*** 1. Now would be a good time to go to the general store. 2. Now would be a good time to go to the camp menu (start button), and buy some skill chips to fill the new skill plate you have. 3. Now would be a good time to increase health/stamina by spending virtue (virtue is kind of like cash) 4. Now would be a good time to save. 5. Now would be a good time to go play with some ninja somewhere. Try taking time just to gain virtue. You will notice that some areas have stronger ninja and give more virtue. Take advantage of this. ----------------------
Mission 4: Fragile- Do Not Break Rank: C
Objective: Transport goods from the Hidden Leaf Village to Border Town and deliver them to the trader who is waiting. The cargo this time is very easily damaged, so be careful.
Method: This mission has harder ninja. Same as last time only the sooner you kill off the ninja the better. However, this time you can have Choji come along with you. Choose the first option at the village menu "form a team." When you are done save and then leave. The battles are the same only harder, as the ones before I suggest using the fire kunai to get rid of these guys as fast as possible. Fire kunai are hard to come by in the beginning so use whatever weapons you have available. The ninja here are some big guys, and some guys with scythe like weapons. A fire kunai will kill them in 1 or 2 hits. I think you can possibly make it to the town in 2 or 3 battles if you are lucky. (Get used to this type of mission because they do get a lot harder)
Reward: 650 virtue, Medicine C x5
--------------------- ***NOTE*** 1. Last time I will say this after every mission refresh yourself. If the screen says there are new skill chips available then go check them out. You don't have to buy any, and you don't need to increase your health/stamina, but it would be a smart idea (when you beat the game you can play through a second time, but your health resets back to 200 [better than 100 when you first start] but you might want a lot of health) ---------------------- Mission 5: Sensei For A Day Rank: C
Objective: Due to the number of incidents recently, many Academy instructors are busy with missions. Graduates are being sought to fill in while the teachers are out and help train the younger students.
Method: The first part is looking for 12 charms all around this area with Konohamaru. Sounds easy? Well of course. Now add a time limit (4:00), and a bunch of purple, and straw hat ninjas, and the fact that you can't let Konohamaru die (or yourself for that matter). I suggest that you make a run for the charms and leave the kid behind. I did my best to describe the location of the charms below. The kid should be fine (just carry a few fire kunai) (also note that female ninja are not affected by the sexy jutsu) If you fail then restart. When you have found all 12 (you can check the camp menu, then go to items, then event items, and see which ones you are missing) head for the entrance (where you started) and Konohamaru will either keep you from leaving or the mission will end.
The direction below are given from looking straight away from the entrance (straight being north, right east, left west, toward entrance south). I suggest you have the air dash on the skill plate.
Charm Locations: 1-Rat- High in a tree. From #6 head east you should have no problem seeing it. 2-Ox- head north east fall below look behind you on wall 3-Tiger- from entrance jump down to your left it is higher on the wall. 4-Rabbit- From #11 jump onto ledge get it on wall. 5-Dragon- run straight from entrance fall to lower level is on the wall behind you. 6- Snake- on the ground in the North-west corner 7-Horse- from entrance follow path east. On wall. 8-Sheep- From entrance head north air dash onto island. 9-Monkey- on tree stump just beyond #1 (still going east) 10-Rooster- From entrance follow path east on tree after #7 11-Dog- From entrance fall to lower left side its on ledge as you make your way away from #3 12-Boar- On stump just north of #11
I chose to follow this path: Turn west and get #3, then turn north and run towards #11. Turn east to get #5. Then turn west and get #12 on stump, follow ramp up to #4. Then turn north to get #6. Head east and pick up #1, then #9, then head south into crevice getting #2. Turn north east and continue to follow path up back towards entrance getting #10, and #7 along the way. Face the island with the ninja walking on it and air dash to it to get #8. Return to the entrance and leave. You will meet up with Neji, his student and yours will both leave, and then he traps you and you fight. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Neji
Moves- Rotation 8 Trigrams, 64 Palms Throw Kunai/ freaky glowing shuriken
Just don't get close. FIRE KUNAI they deal a fair amount of damage! Twin-edge kunai is always nice too.
If you are going the up front attack way then make sure you always have a Power Strike powered up so you don't get hurt by his 8 Trigrams, 64 Palms. Getting close and fighting is hard, but weapons help. If a green light appears from him then get the heck away from him, hopefully you have the air dash chip in the plate. His attacks make him vulnerable so when he is getting ready get close and beat the heck out of him. He might use his rotation, which will protect him and give you a lot of damage. If you used the power strike when he spins you'll take no damage, but he'll take less damage. If you don't have fire kunai then fire bombs work well basically anything that explodes causes more damage. Substitution jutsu works really well with neji because it gives you the upper hand. Remember to heal if you need to. Do not be afraid to use weapons, yeah they go quickly but that is what they are designed for, you can always get more. * * * * * * * * * *
Reward: 700 virtue, Orb Absorb (skill chip) ---------------------- SIDE-QUEST: Kakashi's Special Drill- After the last mission you will notice that you cannot take a new mission go to the map and go to the red dot. OH SAVE because we got a few battles coming up. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Sasuke & Choji
Sasuke: Fireball Technique Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu Chidori Throw Wind shuriken
Choji: Same moves
You have Shikamaru as an ally so take advantage of his Shadow Possession Jutsu.
Right off the bat Choji will run towards you and Sasuke will start throwing his wind shuriken. Choji is fat and annoying so just finish him off real quick, but keep in mind that Sasuke likes to be far away since his attacks have mid-long range, so make sure you keep him close. Just throw combos like crazy, and let's not forget the Nine-Tailed Fox Power. If your health gets low which it probably will throw it into high gear and kick their butts. Take them out at the same time by calling up sadow clones to fight Choji, and then take on Sasuke by yourself, or if you prefer switch that around. You could try Sexy Jutsu, I forgot to try it, but in this battle I don't think it will work. The first time I took out Sasuke first, but the second time (not Round 2, but on a different game) I had to take out Choji first. So really it doesn't matter.
* * * * * * * * * * Boss: Sasuke & Shikamaru
Shikamaru: Floating Shirt Balloons Shadow Possession Jutsu Trap kunai Throw Fire charm on ground Sasuke: I didn't notice it before this battle, but Sasuke now jumps really high into the air and uses his chidori, it is kind of like kakashi's Lightning Blade (it is actually one in the same since Kakashi taught it to him, and you would know that if you watch the show)
You now have Choji as an ally. You know how to use him already so good. Take out Sasuke first because you don't want him annoying you with shuriken and fire, but watch Shikamaru so you learn his preparation for his Shadow Possession Jutsu, because when your battling Sasuke and you see Shikamaru try to use the technique you can throw a kunai at him to stop it. If you prefer you can take out Shikamaru first since you already fought Sasuke you at least know what you're up against...only this time Sasuke seems more enraged so he won't give you a break. It might be a good thing to get rid of Shikamaru because he lays land mines everywhere that explode. You might see a floating balloon (I don't think you can take it down) if it has the same purpose as in the show it allows Shikamaru's shadow possession to go a further distance. If you get under the Shadow Possession Sasuke might come rescue you by chidoring you out of the shadow, because the computer doesn't really work together. * * * * * * * * * * ---------------------- Mission 6: The Hokage Dolls Rank: D
Objective: Rumor has it that Hokage Dolls sold in the village are cursed, as those who buy the doll inevitably seem to meet with misfortune. Gather the dolls and investigate the rumor. Kakashi will accompany you.
Method: Go to each town and whenever you battle call out Kakashi, and use any of his moves as they will obliterate anyone. You just fight people for a while when you are attacked. Until you collect all the dolls and go to the red dot will the real battle ensue. There is nothing special about these ninjas (remember this is a class D) The only problem with this battle is that there is a big crowd SO SEXY JUTSU! And then combo, and don't forget kakshi. If you don't target anyone but have a lot of people in front of you Kakashi's Lightning Blade will hit the lot of them, if you're lucky you may be able to A Thousand Years of Death more than one at a time
Reward: 900 virtue, Chakra bonus (Skill Chip)
---------------------- Mission 7: Prisoner Escort I Rank: C
Objective: A wanted Ninja has been captured in Border Town. Take the prisoner into custody and escort him to the Leaf Village. Attacks on the road by the prisoner's comrades are expected. Be careful.
Method: Form a team of up to 2 allies. I suggest Sasuke and Shikamaru or Neji. OKAY. So you need to get to Border Town, pick up the cargo and then return. On the return trip you cannot let the enemy destroy the cargo and take their friend. Remember to use your Shadow Clones, Sexy Jutsu, and your allies' abilities. This is just the first prisoner escort and the easiest. You may have 3 battles along the way.
Reward: 1000 virtue, Dual C x5
---------------------- Mission 8: Bad Publicity Rank: D
Objective: Emporium Karin is requesting advertising help again. Get the details from the store owner and follow her instructions to carry out an advertising campaign.
Method: JOY! You get a lot of weapons from Karin again. This mission is the same as before, you battle ninjas and spread flyers. You will be fighting Kunoichi, the red female ninjas, along side some purple ninjas. OH JOY. The only thing that sucks is the fact that Sexy Jutsu does not work here. Just fight and move on remember to check back at the village if the people like the shop then the mission is over. Return to the store to end the mission.
Reward: 1100 virtue, Leaf (Skill Plate)
---------------------- Mission 9: Coastal Disturbances Rank: B
Objective: Information has come in that some suspicious men are gathered in a coastal town. Sasuke has gone ahead to investigate; meet up with him and check things out.
Method: Head up to Port Town you will meet with Sasuke kill the group of people. Take advantage of your Harem/Sexy Jutsu. This battle shouldn't last too long. For the majority of the game you battle a bunch of groups of these small ninja which take just a few hits. Remember that Power Strike practice getting a huge combo with it. Push (square) 4 times then (triangle) then charge your Power Strike just as much as you can before the enemy falls and let it go and you should get a decent combo. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Sasuke
Moves- Dragon Flame Jutsu Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu Chidori Lion combo Throw wind shuriken
For the most part this battle will be easier since it is just Sasuke. If you get too close he will beat the crap out of you just because you can't get close to him without him going punch/kick crazy. It also allows him to use his lion combo. He usually follows up the Fire Style with a Chidori. He doesn't seem to favor the Shuriken as much (maybe that is just me) I didn't see the Fireball technique this time, but who knows. The substitution jutsu works well in this battle because then you appear behind him and can kick the crap out of him..When you have beaten the living daylight out of him, a cut scene will occur and everyone looks all spiffy, and everyone is glowing then Kakashi will intervene. The Power Strike will protect you from his attacks if you perform them at the right time.
Reward: 1200 virtue, Perfect Strike (Skill Chip)
---------------------- Mission 10: Gambler's Fallacy Rank: D
Objective: A request has come in to help a gambler who has fallen into trouble. While te specifics are still unclear, we need someone to meet with the client and help resolve the situation.
Method: Form a team! You get to have two people here. I suggest Neji, and Shikamaru because Neji's 8 trigams, 64 palms will be good for the boss, and shikamaru's shadow possession is good for all the enemies. But since Sasuke is leaving soon until the very end I suggest getting your fill. Make your way to the red dot then go to the mountains and you will get into a battle with some monkeys. They move very fast. Walk around the mountain to the blue dot in the middle and you should encounter the gray monkey again.
* * * * * * * * * * Boss: Gray Monkey
Moves: Throw rocks Shoot poo
Push start if you have not done so equip the perfect strike. If you want to do this battle only once then listen up. Run towards his while ignoring the other monkeys. Target onto him and hit him with a twin-edge kunai that way he falls on the ground. The second you shoot that kunai start charging a power strike, get real close to him and let it rip. I do not believe that the monkeys are affected by Harem/Sexy Jutsu so don't bother. Make sure that Neji is your first ally and call him up get really close to the gray monkey and use the 8 Trigrams, 64 Palms. If you did not kill him in time he will run away. * * * * * * * * * * Just walk around the mountain and you will fight him again this time he will die, and then you beat him in a game of dice. Do not worry the white screen is just so you don't see what is going on. Then take the things back to the old man. Mission Complete.
Reward: 1300 virtue, Toad (Skill plate)
---------------------- SIDE-QUEST: Sasuke Pursuit- After the last mission go to the map and go to the red dot. Sakura has finally entered the game...only she doesn't fight. You must go looking for Sasuke. The map is getting bigger and bigger so you can explore more. Along this area there are a lot of chest be sure to break them so you can get all the goodies inside.
The first battle will be in an area that is exactly like the place where you looked for all the charms with Konohamaru. Ther are 2 chests is in this area so be sure to get them. If for any reason you are using stamina then break the boxes and fences for free orbs. Don't bother killing the ninjas just exit the area. The exit is the only way out, and it has a post with the leaf village symbol on it.
In the next area look for all the chests, but be carefull of the bear traps set near them. Be warned do not walk into the fire. Kill and get out.
The pillar maze: OK so you walk through the first set of pillars you should now be surrounded by them. Turn around and look at the shadow of the pillar on the ground. It will be leaning either left or right. Then look at all the other shadows the one going the opposite direction from all the rest is the correct path.
Go to the floating scroll and save. Get the chest off to the right. Then make your way to the next area. Shadows will appear on the ground stay out of the shadows because boulders are going to fall there. Start charging your shadow clones then a bunch of guys will appear release your clones then use Sexy jutsu. Remember the missing Tamasaburo? Well this area is the same layout so go get the two chests in this area then return to the scroll and save. Then make your way back and through these two areas and get ready for a battle. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Kabuto
Moves: Under Grabber [something] Jutsu Super Natural [Palm?] Jutsu Throw kunai
When the battle first starts Kabuto is lounging around not attacking you so keep your distance. He is fast and he can heal himself with his super natural jutsu. His underground technique is annoying, because it follows you but if you get to far away he will just start healing himself. Use clones and your Power strike to take him down. Fire Kunai work well here. If all else fails then go Fox Mode and his butt. But remember to heal otherwise you get to restart, but that is why we saved at the scroll. * * * * * * * * * * ---------------------- Mission 11: Punishment Rank: C
Objective: Sasuke has been confined at home for his dangerous behavior. Naruto must take a mission as punishment. Transport a shipment of precious metal from the Hidden Leaf Village to Tanzaku Town.
Method: Is this any different? Save the cart. You get to form a team, but Sasuke can't join you. Once again Shikamaru and Neji are your best bets. You think I am joking when I say get fire kunai. I am not. These ninja take a few hits with the fire kunai. Hit them once they fly into the air hit them again they should fall dead. Using weapons in missions like these is the best way. I think relying on fire kunai should start decreasing about now, because things are going to be getting harder and they tend not to work so great.
Reward: 1500 virtue, empty chip 2 ---------------------- SIDE-QUEST: Sasuke's Challenge- Choose the ask around feature. Sakura will tell you Sasuke wants to fight you. So make your way to the hill and get ready for a fight. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Sasuke
Moves- See mission 9
You get a really nice cutscene. Too bad the mouths aren't that exact. Air dash to the right and get out of his chidori which he starts with. Fire kunai do not work well in this battle. The 8-way kunai, twin-edge, 6-way shuriken causes some damage. Fire bomb is decent. If you get caught in his dragon flame you bounce on it then he throws the shuriken. Have Power Strikes ready. Sexy Jutsu does not work. Substitution jutsu. YOU DO NOT WANT TO GO FOX MODE. Wait a few. Ok so finish him off without going fox mode. You may not be able to get close enough to combo him so just Power strike it. You can barrage him. * * * * * * * * * * Now here is the deal. On one game that I played I beat Sasuke once but then had to fight him again when he is glowing all purple, and is stronger than the last battle. But then in another game I only had to defeat him once. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Cursed Seal Sasuke
Moves- The same
Now is the time when you want to go fox mode. Since the battle isn't that much different from the other Sasuke battles just do what you always do. Remember you can heal at anytime. So watch your health and your stamina. ---------------------- ***HEY YOU*** Go to the general store get a fire blossom they are amazing. When you can get the naruto's essence first because it puts both extra clone A and B into one triangle that way you can have more space on your skill plate for other things. Go play the monkey dice. Get some minerals head back to the store and get some good recovery items. If you visit the monkey more often, Naruto starts to understand him.
---------------------- Mission 12: National Treasure Rank: C
Objective: Madame Shijimi, wife of the Land of Fire lord, has a request for Naruto. Thieves are after a national treasure, a collection of jars with historic value. Go to the Villa where the jars are kept and serve as security.
Method: The object here is similar to that of the cart missions, only in the sense that you need to keep the doors from being broken. There are two doors, and many enemies. You have Shikamaru to help you so enjoy using his Shadow Possession Jutsu. Use your Shadow Clones to attack the men as they come. The enemy ninjas come spaced out enough where if you send 4 clones out at one person, the clones should take care of everyone. The mission lasts until time runs out. The doors can be damaged but don't let the health get to zero before time runs out.
Reward: 1600 virtue, spiral (skill plate)
---------------------- Mission 13: Oil Fielder Rank: C
Objective: Transport oil from the Hidden Leaf Village to Tanzaku Town and deliver it to the waiting Trader. The oil is highly flammable, so be sure to watch out for fire during battle.
Method: Choose a team! Joy. Once again I prefer to use Shikamaru and Neji. Just like all other cart missions the object it so get to the other town without the cart being beaten to smithereens. The first dot you go to you will battle as usual. So jump pull out a can of whoop.....just kill them. You should know how to do this by now.
Reward: 1700 virtue, Dual B x3
---------------------- Mission 14: Prisoner Escort II Rank: C
Objective: A wanted ninja has been captured in Border Town. Take the prisoner into custody and escort him to the Hidden Leaf Village. It's highly likely that the prisoner's comrades will attack, so stay on the alert.
Method: Things are getting harder in the cargo missions. Form a team. Can you guess who you want to use? Save before you leave, that way if you fail you can restart, but if you fail the reward is up to you. Do you really want it? If not then failing is not so bad. There are four battles, if you are lucky then you may get less.
Reward: 2000 virtue, Medicine A x3
---------------------- Mission 15: Trouble In The Sand Rank: A
Objective: There has been recent unrest in the Sand. Infiltrate Sand Castle near the Hidden Sand Village, meet up with your contact inside, and investigate the Sand's activity. Shikamaru will accompany you.
Method: When you get to the Castle (and this might take a few minutes because it is so far away, and all the ninjas you encounter along the way) defeat and search. Meaning defeat the bad folk, and search for treasure chests. Once you have found the chest on the roof then search for the entrance into the building. Pop open the chest, and then bring down the walls with some weapons and fight off the baddies. Since there are a lot in a small room then Harem Jutsu them. Go through the wall that they came out of, and if you need stamina destroy the lamp posts. Look for the post with the Leaf sign on it, and follow it to the next area.
You are now on a roof, but you can't fall off so don't worry. Follow the roof to the next area marked by the post with the glowing leaf sign.
You now get to kill a few ninjas, and you now get to play a wannabe mini-game. You must jump from moving platform to moving platform. There are some chests here, get them if you want. If you are having trouble them equip the air dash. If you must just stand on a block so you become familiar with the way they move, and so you know when the closest points are. The chests can be tricky. If you do manage to get onto the pipe be aware of the kunai machines, and the hot steam that comes out of the pipes. The chests contain: 3-way fire bomb, Fire kunai, and empty chip 7. Get to the window.
Cut-Scene...Now you get to battle and run around. Just skip the enemies and just keep running. Be sure to get the chest. There are 3 in this area. Go up the stairs. And keep going. When you finally go up a few floors there will be a floating scroll. SAVE. Why? Well because a battle is coming up of course.
* * * * * * * * * * Boss: Gaara
Moves- Sand Coffin Sand Wall Throw Sand shuriken Sand clone
Gaara doesn't move much, but he doesn't need to. If you try to punch him his sand armor protects him, if you get past it you hardly cause any damage. If you send clones on him he will either run away and your clones won't reach him in time before the vanish, or the will send his clones or sand wall to attack them. If you want to use Shikamaru go ahead but you will be wasting your time if you try to use his Shadow Possession Jutsu as it doesn't affect Gaara. If you use Shikamaru use him to lay mines everywhere. If you throw the kunai directly at Gaara he will use his shield. The fastest method is let him ware you down then go Fox Mode on him, and just (Square) combo him, and he will be dead in no time. * * * * * * * * * *
Reward: 2100 virtue, Stun Resist Up (Skill Chip)
---------------------- SIDE-QUEST Hinata's Helper- Leave the Leaf Village and head for the new location. Along the way you will notice that the Flowermoon village is a ghost-town. After a touching cut scene between Hinata and Naruto head back to the Flowermoon village. OK now you may have had to fight along the way, but now we get to have a serious battle coming up. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Giant
Moves: Rock Spire Swing Club Power Swing Slide Call Lightning Power Swing
If you choose to get close you will find that your ninjutsu is better than your taijutsu. So call your shadow clones, naruto barrage, and power strike to help you win.
The "rock spire" as I have named it is the giants longest distance move, which is still very close. He jabs his club into the ground, which causes little mounds of sharp pointed rocks to appear from the ground. These rocks form a 360 around the giant, but are close so once again just stay far away. Only the first two moves are present when his HP is still high.
Now I just made up the names of his moves, and I am not very good at that, so maybe if I ever get the real names. ANYWAY. The giant will now slide across the arena, so jump or air dash out of the way. If you end up in his way he will Power Swing you. The power swing is a lovely new way for him to beat you up. He throws you into the air by hitting you with the club then hitting you on the return trip to the ground. The lightning attack is his longest ranging attack. He will mumble something and he will have a blue ring around him. If you can run over to him and punch him so he stops it, but now you are in his range of attacks so he might hit you. If he does call up the lightning the beams will follow you so run around dodging them until they are finished, or punch the giant, and the attack will end quicker. If you do stop him in the middle of his attack he might use the Power Swing against you causing you to go above the cloud storm he has called forth.
I have noticed that he can swing you out of a Power Strike. So if it comes to this then you can Fox Mode him. * * * * * * * * * * Cut Scene. These cut scenes explain the now unfolding story.
Reward: NOTHING since this wasn't your mission you get nothing.
---------------------- Mission 16: This Time For Real Rank: B
Objective: Madame Shijimi has sent another request. Apparently, she never paid the thieves she hired before, and they are none too pleased. Hurry to the Villa and protect her storehouse from the thieves.
Method: Same method as before, but if I do recall there were more ninja here than in the last mission. Keep in mind that your own weapons and such will also hurt the doors. This is a level you don't want to fail! Once again just survive until the time runs out. I just prepared 4 clones not locking on to anyone and then when I saw someone I released them created another four and when I saw someone else released the new ones. Towards the end when more come you may want to call out Shikamaru and use his shadow possession, but if you don't get every person around you then you may suffer. I had to use a few strong weapons, such as the fire kunai to help take these guys down, but in the process I also hurt the doors (so try to throw weapons away from the doors). The only thing about this level is that (I thought) it is darker than the last.
Reward: 2300 virtue, New Swimsuit (skill chip)
---------------------- Mission 17: The Stuntman Rank: D
Objective: There has been a request from a TV station filming an action drama to dispatch two ninja as stuntmen. Meet up with the other ninja at the studio and help with the filming.
Method: Once you get to the cave keep your eye out for treasure chests, and ignore the bad guys. Once you get to the lake and you watch the cut scene and see a control house run towards the control house to activate another cut scene. (If you having trouble moving through the cave use the air dash) Now after the water has dropped do not jump quite yet head over to just to the right from where you entered this area and jump down to the ledge to get the chest. Now jump into the water to activate another cut scene. These zombie ninja move fast. So get the chests and do what Naruto does best. There are a lot, and for some reason these guys ARE affected by the sexy jutsu, so harem jutsu the boys, and lets move on. Once you have beaten them all you will watch ANOTHER cut scene. Run towards the funky machine.
* * * * * * * * * * Boss: Giant Mantis
Moves: Slash it's Scythe Running Scythe (Shockwave are released from scythe) Create whirlwinds Jumps into air (body slam you)
So you have realized that the Mantis is not just a tiny bug. And you have noticed that punching, kicking, smashing the buttons does hardly ANY damage. Sexy Jutsu is not effective at all, nor is the Uzumaki barrage, or your little clones. Oh and since none of these are effective the Nine-Tailed Fox is no help either.
If you stay far away it can't use it's base attack (slashing of its scythes) (it will run after you), but this allows it to use the Running Scythe as I have named it; however, this is easy to dodge with the air dash. The whirlwinds are easy to avoid, but may get in the way if you are trying to battle both of the Mantis' at the same time. (I have noticed if you get hit by the whirlwind the mantis jump on you while you are down) When it jumps just don't be under it. Simple. NOW lock on to the original Mantis if you aren't already, and use a fire bomb (all fire weapons cause some damage more than naruto could), or the substitution jutsu to knock him down.
Enter Neji the master of the 8 Trigrams, 64 Palms. Get real close, and once the mantis is up use the 8 Trigrams, 62 Palms. This may not kill him, but use a rotation a few times. Once Neji goes away hopefully you can take the first one down by throwing some weapon. Keep in mind the second Mantis will not give you a moments rest so try to keep it in the camera view. Now that there is only one mantis this should be easy as no other Mantis will enter, and you (hopefully) have some fire weapons (I like the fire blossom) if you are out of weapons then use some rations on Neji (since you are not using them on yourself since you are not using any stamina) or just wait until he heals then call him out and finish the battle.
This is one battle that you will appreciate his R2 attack if you are not yet a fan of it, as it will cause more damage than you could cause. Please remember to heal throughout the battle.
* * * * * * * * * *
Reward: 2200 virtue, Nine-Tail (skill plate) --------------- ***TIPS*** 1. If you haven't played in a while or you feel you need more practice NOW WOULD BE A GOOD TIME TO TRAIN!!! The battles ahead are getting harder, and the final battle in nearing. 2. I would suggest you stop relying on weapons if you have been. While they may be useful for other enemies they won't work on the final battle. So get used to using your hands. 3. Mix up your skill plate every once in a while that way you can broaden your skills. ---------------
---------------------- Mission 18: Prisoner Escort III Rank: B
Objective: A wanted ninja has been captured in Border Town. Take the prisoner into custody and escort him to the Hidden Leaf Village. Orochimaru's men have been trying to abduct many prisoners lately. Be careful.
Method: Form a team you get 2 allies. I chose my ever favorite team of course: Negative nancy Shikamaru, and creepy eyes Neji. This is the hardest cargo mission, so good luck. Things haven't changed so here is the same mumbo jumbo: "Save before you leave, that way if you fail you can restart, but if you fail the reward is up to you. Do you really want it? If not then failing is not so bad."
Reward: 2500 virtue, Dual Ax3
---------------------- Mission 19: Closed For Business Rank: C
Objective: Emporium Karin hasn't been open for some time now. Since Naruto has already saved the shop twice, we would like him to check out the situation and see if a new problem has occurred.
Method: Form a team. You get 2 allies. Go to the general store. This is not the spread flyers level anymore we have a mystery on our hands. Head on out to your destination. Defeat the first wave of guys, this is just the beginning. Make your way through the cave ignoring the bad boys. When you come to the split in the road go to the left. Cutscene with Karin. If you ever get lost, look for the sign posts with the hidden leaf symbol on it. In the next room SAVE there is a lovely little scroll here for you. DUN DUN DUN. CUTSCENE! There are about 4 or 5 guys they are weak to the sexy justu so bring on the babes! Cutscene which deepens the plot… OK you noticed it, because I noticed it…at the end of the cutscene they give you a clue! Go to the rock and hit it a few times even with clones without clones power strike or not, just hurry you are TIMED. Just follow the path, and find your way out. See the FAQ at the bottom for more help with this section.
***NOTE*** I have gotten some reports that my directions are wrong, but they worked for me at least once otherwise I would not have put them there. Who knows the direction might change each time you play the level or for each game…until I find out just plan on doing the mini-game. Read the FAQ for details.
After you make it to the original room naruto says he feels as though he has been rear-ended (rear-ended by what?!?! I don't think there are cars in the manga or anime….) You are no longer timed, but run out anyway to save time. Cutscene….naruto uses some bad English and…BACK AT KARIN'S!
Reward: 2600 virtue, Empty Chip 3
---------------------- Mission 20: Mass Disappearances Rank: S
Objective: The villagers of Wind Gate have suddenly vanished. Orochimaru may have taken over the village for his nefarious experiments. Hurry there with Neji to find the villagers and stop the experiments.
Method: Make your way to the Wind Gate Village. We get one of the good cutscenes! Why couldn't the whole game be this way? OK green mist= BAD! If you keep jumping and running then you will use the substitution jutsu when the fog hurts you. After you turn the corner a cutscene will ensue. Jump onto the box and onto the roof, into the window and battle. Follow around and the bad guys will break down walls. Look for the Hidden leaf symbols to help you find your way. Eventually you will come to an outdoor area hop up to the second floor and then back to the ground beyond the gate for a chest of goodies. Hop back up and into the window with the hidden leaf symbol below it. Go left, then in front of you as you turn the corner is a breakable wall with a special chip behind it. Turn around and break down the wall that was in front of you when you hopped into the window. Walk up to the glowing symbol. Make your way through the buildings. Have you noticed that you can't use the stairs? You are out on the roof and there is a save point. Save then jump over the railing and break a chest open then run forward into the courtyard area for a cutscene. HI GAARA! * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Gaara
Moves- Sand Coffin Sand Wall Throw Sand shuriken Sand clone
Like last time Gaara doesn't move much. I suggest using the full power, power strike, and the Uzumaki Barrage. Everything else is pretty much pointless. Neji is amazing actually get real close then use the 64 palms. The first few won't do any damage, but the sand guard can't hold up forever, just keep restoring his stamina and use him instead of naruto. I felt the battle was much easier, but really the battle is no different than last time.
CUTSCENE you won that is great…but now you need to face:
* * * * * * * * * * Boss: Kabuto
Moves: Under Grabber [something] Jutsu Super Natural [Palm?] Jutsu [Something] Jutsu Throw kunai
This battle is a bit different. I can't understand the man so I don't know the names of his attacks, and I really don't have the time to find out (so if someone wants to do that for me that would be great) anyway his new jutsu is nothing special. He just calls sand clones to the playing field. If you are lucky enough fire blossoms work very well here. Hit him head on, but don't waste your time with normal fighting. Use the power strike, etc. you know what moves are powerful so use them. Don't forget Neji is at your disposal, but naruto works just fine here. * * * * * * * * * *
HI KAKASHI! POOF! Level beat.
Reward: 2700 virtue, Seal Weaken (L) (Skill Chip)
It turns out that the mist is actually mold, and they will make an antidote, because you need it.
---------------------- Mission 21: Final Battle Rank: S
Objective: The Anbu pursued Kabuto and located Orochimaru's hideout. However, green mist has broken out near the village, and damage is already spreading. Take over Orochimaru's hideout and bring an end to this dreadful plot!
Method: A cutscene starts the mission. Head over to Rock Cave. It is quite a long ways. I have gotten many questions on this level so I will be as detailed as possible. CUTSCENE naruto drinks mold antidote. Follow the corridor and you will come to the first hidden leaf symbol. Here the bad guys start coming to attack you after a cutscene. There is a fork in the hall go to the right (or left if you don't want all items possible) and look for any chests then return and you will now go right (used to be left). Near some torches are some boxes break them for some orbs. You can either fight or ran. I feel I took more damage running though. The path is pretty linear, but you will come to a fork one going straight another to the left. First lets go straight (if you don't want an item go left, and skip to the next paragraph) go straight and follow the path to the right. This room is full of kunai throwing machines. Destroy them with your own kunai or kick them. There are also some bad guys here. Get the item and return to the fork. You will now turn right. After the loading screen go right until there is a gated area to your right hand side. Turn left and some guys are lingering waiting to hurt you. Once you go through either of the two left pathways turn right and right again. There are rocks in front of you and a chest break it. Turn around and go up the ramp. Equip some bombs and start chucking them at the kunai machines. Jump into the now open cave by jumping up then air dashing forward (you need to have the chip in your skill plate) get item in the chest. Jump up and down to the crevice. Follow the path up a larger ramp killing any guys on your way. There is a fork here go right. Neji is having some fun…or not. (NOTE*** this part is optional and can be skipped over by originally going left.***) You are now back to the beginning of this area. Follow the path to the right, left, left up the ramp, fall into the crevice, run around up the ramp, to the right again this time to get the item in the chest (I don't believe you can get it the first time when the cutscene happens, as naruto will go to the ground level) . Follow the path to the right, left, left up the ramp, fall into the crevice, and run around up the ramp, this time finally go left. Throw your bombs at the kunai machines. Air dash over to the platform they were on. Turn right and jump over each platform towards the door. If you fall go left up the ramp, fall into the crevice, run around up the ramp, and to the left again until you make it all the way across to the door. You will need the air dash to complete these jumps. Cutscene. Head through the door. You can save here if you would like. I would after all this is the final battle. Head through the next door. Kakashi joins your team, but don't bother using him for the small battles ahead. Head through the door. Sasuke joins your team. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Giant & Kabuto
Moves: Moves are pretty much the same.
Oh by the way this isn't the last battle. Your objective is to destroy the prisms around the room your best shot is to destroy those first using sasuke's chidori or naruto's power strike, but do not use kakashi. The enemies in the room will continue to heal and revive until you destroy the prisms. To do this quickly press R2 to charge the power strike as you run towards a prisms when you are in front of it release the power strike to destroy it in one blow. I believe there are six in all. When you release the power strike aim for the crack between the prism and the wall so naruto goes shooting into it and stays that way you don't waste a power strike. Next get rid of Kabuto fire blossoms are good once again, but they are so precious you may not want to use them the slower way is power strike. By now you should really know how to take care of him, just remember you have a giant and little sand clones following you around. Once you get rid of kabuto go after his clones which will no longer appear. The giant….don't try to attack his front. Use the substitution jutsu when he swings to get behind him then puch the crap out of him OR use the uzumaki barrage from further away, which is faster and safer. The giant doesn't call lightning anymore so that's great stay a far distance and use the uzumaki barrage, save your allies for later. Something I have noticed: if you have clones out when the giant power swings, the clones will land in front of him and he may try to attack them and you can get away.
* * * * * * * * * * Head straight out of this room, do not turn around or you will be going backwards. When you get to the glowing symbol there is a cutscene and you can now buy weapons from Karin. Come to think about it I wish we could have played as sakura. BUY A LOT OF RATIONS. FOR THE FINAL BATTLE!!! And other health items. Once you leave the weapons menu turn around. See Karin she will stay here for you. Now turn back around and head right there is a fork in the road. Going to the left takes you back to the area of the last battle. So…Go straight. Follow the curve right and continue to go straight there is a save scroll here for you. That must mean. YES finally the final battle. Follow the path. Cutscene walk like 20 steps and into the next room. * * * * * * * * * * Boss: Orochimaru
Moves- Throw kunai Tornados Multiple Snake tounge 64 palms imitation Slides across the room as a shadow.
This guy is not easy. He moves way more than anyone in the game, and it is hard to keep a lock on him. He likes to disappear behind you. Do not touch the tornados because they send you flying. My technique the first time was to keep moving and keep pressing X for the substitution jutsu. He throws kunai just like anyone else. The tornados can be one at a time or multiple they can be shot from his mouth or all around you. He likes to stick his many tongues out at you when you are close (also affects clones) when he punches he does a very, very short version of a 64 palms. Sometimes he slides across the room on the floor. Jump when this happens. As he dwindles down he moves a lot faster. Here is the best method that worked for the first half of the battle. You must be close for this. Charge some clones when he gets behind you release them, and they will go straight for him. While they are fighting him charge a power strike it doesn't have to be full, but right as they disappear unleash the powerstrike. Snake boy will lay on the ground for a second this is when you charge more clones, once he stands up unleash the clones and start charging a power strike and release when the clones disappear repeat this method until you mess up and he gets away from you or you goofed. If you charge too much then he vanishes before you manage to unleash. When you run out of stamina use rations (unless you are using your allies then save the rations for them) or revert back to the rapid x smashing method. When you do this you can get around him by jumping and air dashing, or if your lucky a substitution jutsu. When you are behind him or manage to get close as he is performing a move, PUNCH HIM, so he drops an orb, continue this until you have collected enough to continue the clone-strike (as I have named it) method. Using Kakashi is fun, but his thousand years of death is hard to get around Orochimaru, and doesn't cause a lot of damage. His lightning blade well lets just say I had better luck with the method I described earlier; he has unlimited kunai. Sasuke has unlimited wind shuriken, and his chidori is nice. The only problem is, is that they don't last long enough for you to get a good advantage which is why I suggest you should stick with naruto. --------------- ***TIPS*** 1. Remember to pause and heal. 2. Try altering your skill plate during battle to suit your fighting needs (if you are using taijutsu then put more red chips, if you are using more ninjutsu put more blue, if you want to increase your ability to resist being stunned by your enemy then use more green chips, and if you want to increase your health or stamina use the pink chips). --------------- Weapons are not that great. Fire kunai add that kaboom effect which makes snake boy fall over. Twin edge does the same thing, and fire blossoms add some protection for you, so he can't get in close, but keep in mind that his tornado attack can get through your attacks. Those are the only weapons I suggest.
* * * * * * * * * * Cutscene, Credits (push start), Cutscene
Reward: Shuriken (skill plate), Gaara as an ally, Kakashi as an ally, Boss battles (on the map, can battle at any time), increased health and stamina for next round.

(this is one item you wish you has an unlimited number of)

X. |===Skill Plates===|
You can store Skill Chips in Skill Plates to improve Naruto's abilities, give him new actions, and customize his attack/defense. You can gain Skill Plates as rewards for completing certain missions. ------------ Bonuses: If you completely fill a Skill Plate with Skill Chips you will get a special bonus depending on which color chip is more abundant on the plate. Below are the bonuses here is how it reads: If you have more __(color here)__ tiles then you will get a __(bonus)__.
Red- 30% Increase for Taijutsu attack Blue- 30% Increase for Ninjutsu attack Green- 50% Increase in stun resistance Purple- 30/30% Increase in Health/Stamina
*** For reference I will measure them by how many small triangle pieces they hold, that is the number in parentheses***
1. Baby Leaf- For beginners. Cannot set large chips. (8)
2. Kunai- Not much space, but it's fairly easy to fill the plate for bonus effects. (24)
3. Leaf- Handles large chips well, especially the longer ones. (46)
4. Toad- Very good for hexagonal chips, but the overall space is limited. (38)
5. Spiral- Handy for Limited Chips and chips that boost basic abilities. (42)
6. Nine-Tail- Works well with any chip. It's touch to fill the entire plate, though. (personally I didn't think it was that hard to fill) (45)
7. Shuriken- The largest plate. The one downside is that certain large chips won't fit. (54)
XI. |===Skill Chips===|
Taijutsu Skill Chips (red)- Most of these chips will raise your taijutsu attack power or lower the amount of damage that you take from weapon and taijustu attacks, some also increase health.
Ninjustsu Skill Chips (blue)- Most of these chips will raise your ninjutsu attack power or lower the amount of damage that you take from ninjutsu attacks, some also increase stamina.
Special Attack Skill Chips (green)- These chips give Naruto numerous special abilities.
Limited-Use Skill Chips (pink)- These chips allow uncommonly powerful attacks, but you can only use them a certain number of times before they're used up.
Empty Chips (Gold)-If you fill up an entire skill plate with chips, you can activate certain special powers. Empty chips do not allow any special abilities on their own, but they can be used to fill up otherwise unused portions of the skill plate.
* If there is no virtue value then the chip cannot be purchased, but is gained throughout the game. ** LA= Left analog N/A- This means I have yet to get the price. This will be completed soon.

Limited Chips: Effect: How to obtain:
Super Strike- Power Strike hits for twice the damage. Award for defeating 80 or more enemies in Jiraiya's battle minigame. Super Uzumaki- Naruto Uzumaki Barrage hits for twice the damage. Award for defeating 80 or more enemies in Jiraiya's battle minigame. Super Sexy Jutsu- Broadens range of Sexy Jutsu. Award for defeating Boss Monkey at Dice five times in a row without cashing out. Determination- When defeated by an enemy, revive with 25 percent health. Award for correctly inputting 100 handsigns in the hand sign minigame.
**NOTE** Limited chips perform their function up to five times and then disappear. They can be obtained multiple times. If you are missing a few chips, that is partly because towards the beginning I stopped putting down the location of the chests. I will take care of this problem in the future.
XII. |===Mini Games===|
1. "Pervy Sage" Training- Kill as many enemies as you can within a time limit. The more people you kill the better rewards you get. Limited Chips are rewards for high scores.
2. Konohamaru's Hand Signs- push the correct buttons that appear on the screen reading from the left to the right. The more chains you complete the better rewards you will receive. Take to long to perform the sequence and you fail. Limited Chips are rewards for high scores.
3. Monkey Dice- Here you can exhange things for minerals. You roll 3 dice add them together the highest score wins. You bet minerals. Limited chips are rewards for consecutively winning.
4. Robbers- While it isn't really a mini-game I decided to put it here. Sometimes when you are out on the map you will see a "?" and if you move, it moves...most of the time; otherwise it disappears. If you manage to be on the same spot as it you can battle, and you must kill the leader before time runs out. The leader is the only one that looks different. You don't have to kill the other ninjas to win, and you don't really get anything special other than dropped items, but the leader does drop better weapons.

XIV. |===Round Two===|
After you beat the game you can play through it again, only this time you can have Kakashi, and Gaara as allies. You can also battle bosses when you please although be warned the battles are a lot harder this time around. Your health and stamina start out at 200. You also have a new skill plate called shuriken, and you still have all your items from the first time around. Gameplay is the same. Read the walkthrough for the round two rewards and virtue. This time however you can buy as much health/stamina as you want up to 999 points. Keep in mind though raising it ten points will cost you 2000 virtue, so it will take some time.

XVI. |===FAQ===|
Q: I am on the level where Naruto is in a cave and is being timed I can never find the correct way. Help!
A: Follow the left road, then right, then left again, and then all you have is a single straight path to the finish. If you end up going the wrong way you will have to play the mini-game.
I will try to explain this as clear as possible. You are in a cart, and as you go around in circles you will see a lever. This lever is circular in shape and has two colors punch the lever as you go by, and make sure the colors are horizontal meaning one color on top of the other. This should open up the path. You can use weapons to hit the levers, but it is much harder. Keep in mind not all of the levers are vertical some are already horizontal.
Q: I am in a maze like temple thing with pillars how do I get out?
A: Out of the four directions only one is the correct way (obviously) you will notice on the ground some shadows. The shadows will lean either left or right. They should all be leaning the same way except for the correct path. (i.e. Go to the one with the different shadow.)
Q: What is new the second time around?
A: A lot of things. New allies, new skill chips, can battle bosses whenever, start with 200/200 health/stamina, there is no limit on how much health/stamina you can buy, see the round two section for details.
XVII. |===Thanks/Contact===|
I would like to thank:
itachi1124- for correcting me on the FAQ . Irish- for helping me figure out the Neji & Lee scenario on the final level battle
I would like to thank Masashi Kishimoto for creating Naruto, and Shonen Jump for housing it.
I would also like to thank IGN for housing another one of my guides.
Gameshark for making some of this information to be obtained a lot easier and faster.
And of course myself for all the hours I put into playing once, playing it twice, then playing about 10 more times to get almost every detail.
If you have any update information, or question please contact me at JB_beckman@yahoo.com with the subject title as Naruto- Info, or Naruto- Help . I love to chat or what not so if you want to chat .... You can reach me at the same place.
