As much as i hate the ads playing there, i still can't wait to see this because its THE event to see new announcements. Watching it 1000%.

Won’t be able to watch it live but hell yeah I’m hyped for the show. Looking forward to seeing a lot of great games shown.

Can we finally see some of the games I know are coming but have no idea when? That would be great. Although V Rising dropping out of the blue was a happy surprise after waiting years it just dropped after like a week or two notice on PS5. Until then it just said coming soon.

$250K to get 90+ million viewers looking at your game isn’t a bad deal. I’m not sure what this insider is bitching about. The average 30 second spot in network TV is $105K. And the average viewership on network TV during prime time is around 3-5 million. Hell, non gaming companies should thinking about buying some Summer Game Fest spots lol

@mycatismilk: Summer Game Fest was well ahead planning the schedule before MS did their own schedule. Summer Game Fest is the new E3 since the actual E3 is officially dead. Summer game Fest starts Friday June 7th and Xbox show starts Sunday June 9th.

Back on topic. I'm currently on vacation but I will be watching Summer Game Fest in my hotel for the night and I'm really excited what Geoff has to show for!

New game annoucements aren't that needed. I want to see more from what's announced. Where the f*ck is my UNCUT Stalker 2 gameplay at? I mean, this isn't asking for much, game is supposed to launch in September, and there's no gameplay available. wtf is that.

@ghostofgolden: That's a rip off. All these publishers need to do is have their on YT channels and sites like this one, IGN etc will then show your trailers on their sites for free because they need the content for their consumers.

I guess i expected new announcements, but i know for a fact Fromsoft is not gonna announce anything because they ain't derailing the mega hype for shadow of the erdtree, and as for the rest, i wouldn't say no, but i am more interested to see stuff about perfect dark, the new dragon age (just so i could confirm how dogshit Bioware is), stalker 2, etc.

Isn't the devs behind Stalker 2 Ukrainian? Kinda hard to make a game during war.

But since it's a timed MS exclusive maybe they will show you something on Monday's Xbox show on June 10th.

The dev is from ukraine, but they move away from ukraine like two years ago, so the war isn't an issue, and they gave us the final release date (supposed to mean that there will be no more delays no matter what). And they will most likely show it during MS show, but what i want is 10 minutes plus uncut gameplay. Its time for them to show the damn game, we're just a few months from release, and we have abasolutely nothing gameplay wise.

Have you seen marketing budgets these days? $250-$500K is nothing. The smaller indie games get free slots, so it’s the bigger publishers that are paying these fees. And they can easily afford it. Especially if you look at the ratings these shows get.

E3 is no different. E3 itself costs way more money to set up booth stages, it's why everyone abandons E3 due to them getting greedy on the fees, and doing everything online digitally makes everything cheaper...especially for advertisers.

Hell, Geoff told E3 they need to go digital and start innovating to keep publishers happy but nope, they wouldn't listen, and it's why Geoff made Summer Game Fest as it is. I do miss E3 itself, but sadly, gaming media makes everything easier. So yeah.

Dunno why but I assumed with was the awards show, so was going to wait to watch to just get all the videos. But this should just be trailers, so I'll be watching.
