If you could play only one game for the rest of this year, what would it be?

For me it would be Silent Hill 2 Remake! Loved the original and I’m excited to see this game come back in the modern era. I like that Bloober is going for a faithful remake but at the same time, making changes where they see fit while trying to keep to the spirit of the original game. That’s what makes me interested the most. How about you, SW? If you could play only one game for the rest of this year, what would it be?

Rocket League. That game is still as fun as when it launched

I'm going to go with rocket league as well, still jump in from time to time. Never gets tiring. As long as people still play it, I'll play it.

If people still played I'd say UT2004, but it's dead

Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree base game plus expansion equals a metric ton to play around with and explore.

Baldur's Gate 3 or AC Shadows (if it's good).

Yeah I want to go with a long game so these two would do nicely.

Also I want to see what AC Shadows' seasons bring to the table.

Lastly Baldurs Gate 3 is getting more comprehensive mod support soon so this should really open up many possibilities for more content. I hope they included Steam Workshop support with it.

I need to get back in to Rocket League, but on topic: The Binding of Isaac. It just never gets old.

Well I'm enjoying my time with World of Warcraft recently. It's not the funnest game I've played recently but it's likely the one that could get me to the end of the year. I imagine if it was the only game I had to play I'd probably be good with that, especially with the expansion coming this year that'd be a nice way to spend the last quarter.

I've got an average of 500+ hours in each of those games, what's another 1000 hours?! I'd be happy playing either one for the rest of the year. Shit, I'd actually be able to focus on one and finally build my super-factory with ultra-fine-tuned logistics or finally send a probe to the outermost planet.

For a whole year? I couldn't say Spyro because I get burned out after beating it. Nor can I say Kingdom Hearts because I get tired of playing it since I played it ad nauseum as a teenager. I'll have to ponder this

NBA 2K25 if it is good like 2K24. Otherwise Skull and Bones.

Zelda Breath of the wild. It's a game that's played different and can be enjoyed in multiple ways

Somehow 50 hours of Dave the diver snuck up on me... Soooo it may end up being that. Lol. So many little game mechanics and things to do to get ready for the shop to open! Prime gaming experience.

But I suppose I'll run out of content eventually.... In that case I'd go with helldivers 2. Super fun, every time.

I guess if it had to be guaranteed to hold my attention for an extended period then I would say Bloodborne

@TheEroica: It's a great game to chill with and the characters are fun. The game's charm keeps me coming back to see the next cutscene, I never want to skip them. I spent a lot of hours on it too, exploring and collecting, and went back for different updates.

STALKER 2.

Not sure. Elden Ring is still fun, but I might get tired of it soon. Binding of Isaac is always fun, so maybe that.

It would need to last 6 ish months so something big.

X4 would be right up there. Absolutely massive game. 6 months may only be scratching the surface.

Total War: Warhammer 3 would also be a good candidate. Or any total war game really.

I can't think of a game I would handle playing only it for that long.

Elden Ring + DLC

If it had to be one game it would be COD or Halo infinite as it has the most replayability.

Something creative like Mario Maker.

Probably Ultimate: Doom or a fighting game, prob Samurai Shodown since barely played it. 3-4 hours.

Forza Horizon 5. I think it's my most played game since it released.

Stalker 2

Path Of Exile. I can play that game so many different ways it is amazing.
