Skullgirls Encore will be available for free to PlayStation Plus subscribers in the US starting today, May 13, Sony has said.
Skullgirls Encore is a major update for the 2D fighting game, offering faster gameplay and a bevy of balance updates. GameSpot certainly liked it, at any rate, awarding the game an 8 in its original review. The game's first male Skullgirls character, Big Band, also arrived last month as free DLC.
Joining Skullgirls Encore in the PlayStation Plus lineup for May is Puppeteer, Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 on PS3, Limbo and Surge Deluxe on Vita, and Stick it to the Man on PS4.
European subscribers, meanwhile, can get their hands on Puppeteer, Payday 2, Muramasa Rebirth, Everybody's Golf, and Stick it to the Man.
