Risk of Rain 2 leads the June 2024 Humble Choice lineup. In this roguelite action game, players explore procedurally-generated planets, picking up randomized equipment you'll need to survive against waves of alien monsters. GameSpot awarded Risk of Rain 2 an 8 out of 10 in our review, citing its fast-paced gameplay, near-infinite item experimentation, and excellent solo and co-op modes as great reasons to pick up the game.

If that isn't enough alien horde blasting for you, there's Warhammer 40K: Battlesector. This turn-based tactical combat game faithfully recreates the Warhammer 40K tabletop wargame in a modernized PC game format. The base game offers a 20-mission single-player campaign where players lead an army of Space Marines against the insectoid Tyranids, and a skirmish mode where players can play as either faction in competitive matches against bots or other players. While not included with the Humble Choice bundle, there are also Warhammer 40K: Battlesector DLC packs available that add more playable factions and game modes.

Miasma Chronicles continues this month's sci-fi theme. The tactical RPG follows a group of scavengers surviving in a far-future post-apocalyptic wasteland teeming with supernatural monsters, mutants, and sentient robots. The game mixes real-time exploration, turn-based tactical combat, and a heavy narrative focus.

There's also Empyrion: Galactic Survival, an open-world crafting and survival sandbox where players explore and terraform numerous alien worlds, each with its own biomes, climates, and creatures. You can build everything from small settlements and spaceships, to full-blown colonies, space stations, and starship fleets.

Not a sci-fi fan? No worries--Humble Choice's June 2024 bundle also comes with Knights of Honor II: Sovereign, the large-scale civilization strategy game where you build your own medieval empire. You also get Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical, which blends narrative-driven visual novel gameplay elements with a comic book-inspired art style and rock opera musical presentation. Rounding out the bundle is the sandbox racing game Lego 2K Drive: Awesome Edition and the hand-animated adventure puzzle game A Guidebook of Babel.
