The latest update that went live for Cyberpunk 2077 has seemingly made a lot of much-needed improvements, however, it’s also added an accidental new feature in the form of “finger guns”.
Not to be confused with a certain episode of South Park, the finger gun is essentially an invisible gun, but it still does damage to the unfortunate residents of Cyberpunk 2077’s Night City.
To be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve written some news on bugs and glitches of Cyberpunk 2077 and it’s nice not to write anything negative on the troubled RPG.
Sure this bug be seen as a “negative”, as it’s an accidental glitch that’s exploded its way into the game via a patch, but at least this one is quite funny.
Footage of the finger gun was first posted on Reddit by user “phuk” [via GamesRadar] with a gameplay clip that looks to be captured from an Xbox.

The gameplay in question shows protagonist V in their first-person perspective being a menace to society in the sci-fi RPG from CD Projekt Red. When watching the footage all I can hear in my head is “PEW…PEW!”.
Noted in the patch notes for the recent Cyberpunk 2077 update is a long list of over 500 fixes, including gameplay tweaks, mission bugs, and visual glitches being improved upon.
I wonder if this glitch works for a shotgun because that would make for one awkward, yet hilarious animation!
This is not the first time that a humorous glitch has made its way into Cyberpunk 2077. Back in December 2020, what can only be described as a “Trouser Snake” glitch happened. You know what we’re talking about.
It’s likely that the Cyberpunk finger guns will be patched out soon, but it would be awesome if CDPR officially patched it into the game as some kind of Easter egg weapon.
