TWO HARBORS, Minn. — Two Harbors native Jacob Keech says he found motivation to start his own business after his brother taught him how to window clean. Two years ago, with his new skills, previous experience and his brothers Steven and Tyler by his side, Jacob started his own company, called Clear Vue Power Washing.
“We clean all exterior surfaces, we clean gutters, we clean windows, we power wash things,” said Founder and Owner Jacob Keech. “We clean concrete, pretty much anything that has any mold or anything you don’t want on your house, we clean it off for you.”
Clear Vue Power Washing tackles unclean surfaces and places that may look spotless to the naked eye.
“There’s a lot of grime and stuff that people can’t really see on their house. They’re siding, on the concrete. And we use professional grade cleaners. It basically just gets rid of all that stuff,” said Keech.
Growing up in Two Harbors, Jacob and his brothers prioritize their local community. But after wanting to grow the company, Clear Vue has branched into the Iron Range and the Twin Ports.
“Mainly, we go up the shore a lot, and that’s kind of our big hit. A lot of people up there don’t really have the access to another window cleaning company down in Duluth or somewhere down south. So that’s where we come in, we save a lot of people money up to shore just because we’re local,” said Keech.
Jacob says his family has always valued hard work, and when combining their skills and knowledge, the trio of brothers have taken their business to a new level.
“I basically knew that I was meant to do it. Like I just knew that I had a bit of drive in me,” said Keech. “Same with my brothers. It’s like we all have something about us where when we join, it’s like this master force it can’t be stopped you know what I mean?”
