I’m a former business leader, speaker and consultant who has always loved to read and tell stories.

I aim to write suspenseful and entertaining novels, and have seven published titles in a compelling series called The Multima Saga. Each plot is different, but they all spin tales of the goings-on at senior levels of the fictional Multima Corporation.

Organized crime is another thread in all my stories. I have always been fascinated by how criminal interests influence, infiltrate, and control many businesses around the globe. My nefarious creation—The Organization—worms its way into all my novels.

Over the past fifty years, I’ve visited more than 50 countries and 650 cities on four continents, and when I left the corporate world, I had over 10,000 “contacts" from five different industries. So, I have no shortage of characters, stories, or life experiences when I write.

Join me as we travel the globe, peeking into the intriguing worlds of The Organization and Multima Corporation. I always recommend you start with Three Weeks Less a Day!

The story captures you from the first page on. McGugan writes like a true insider and keeps the tension and suspension high to the last page. Excellent book.

The only open questions are: What happened to HK? When does the next book come out?

How easy it is to shop the aisles of our favorite supermarket and never give a thought to what brought all those products to the shelves. I, for one, hadn't thought so much intrigue could be involved but after reading Three Weeks Less a Day it all makes perfect sense. I was really into my reading and hadn't realized I'd hit the end until I flipped the page to see the acknowledgments. I want more of John George's and Suzanne's connection. Sequel, Gary!

Great first novel by business executive and author Gary McGugan. This novel was about the struggles between high level corporate executes and the competition they face every day at with their jobs. The story was unlike any I have ever read before and this I liked. I was fortunate to meet the author at a book signing and found him to be a very interesting person. He's a former business executive and current business consultant and the story he tells about the international corporate world demonstrates his first hand knowledge. His book is fast paced, exciting and every time I picked it up I was always looking forward to what was coming next. I would liked to have seen more character development and dialogue but this did not stop me from enjoying this read.

We truly live in a global economy when products on your grocers shelves may come from Japan, China and your local growers. Technology is also part of this economy where Germany and Russia contribute for ease at the checkout. Industrial espionage is also part of the global economy. It certainly plays a part in the succession of the new CEO of John George Mortimer’s dynamic and successful corporation. Who would have thought a mastectomy would lead to game changing events for his three top candidates? Who would have thought grocery store business could be so complex and exciting?

I found Three Weeks Less A Day difficult to put down. Very unusual because corporate espionage isn’t high on my reading list.

An exceptional book that gets your attention right from the start. It puts you at the highest levels of a large corporation's intrigue, politics, and the corporate planing of executive level decisions. This, combined with the accuracy of the lifestyle, and the international flavour of the business, make it an intriguing read, involving you in the upper echelons of corporate life. It would certainly make an interesting, dramatic movie! I love the detail the author has put in, it clearly reflects the global business experiences he has in order to accuratly create this captivating novel.

The very first scene caught my attention and the desire to continue intensified as the story unfolded. For me the fascination was to get an insider look at the cooperate world at board-room level as the plot sickened and characters aligned themselves with their own motivations and goals to fight for the ultimate position. Gary McGugan’s knowledge of the workings of mega companies at a global level is profound which makes the story believable and intriguing. Congratulation!! Gary, Good luck in your next novel.

I would have jumped at the chance to see somewhat more personal advancement however completely partook in the fast speed and building anticipation. The closure left my mouth agape since it finished so suddenly. I was persuaded by the book’s characters’ determination and will to defeat unanticipated deterrents chasing accomplishment. This novel was about the battles between undeniable level corporate executes and the opposition they face consistently with their positions.

This is a lot of in-proof with this unpredictable quick yarn that will keep you as eager and anxious as can be until the end.
