Gorgeous Journal
My eyes lit up when I saw this journal (I journal daily - it's how I keep my sanity). I shared it with my father (he's the reason I love Star Wars), and he surprised me by ordering it for me without saying anything and it was the BEST surprise for me today. I'm a grown woman with 2 children, and journal "prompts" have never been very interesting for me. I looked through every page of this, and while some may not be very serious (ie the one about which droid companion you would have or which starship you would fly), others were ones I wouldn't mind actually writing about (like what goals you'd like to achieve or planning ways to serve your community). For the less serious ones, I may just write freely about whatever comes to mind. This journal is too pretty, I think, for me to waste 2 pages writing about a starship. But that doesn't take from the journal itself; it's beautiful, it's calming to look at, it's got a built-in bookmark ribbon, it encourages daily acts of selflessness which I love, and of course, it's got the beautiful Jedi emblem on the cover and the back. Just the design of this journal makes it worth the price in my opinion. If you don't like the prompts, ignore them. Or get a blank journal. I don't see anything to complain about. 5 stars, all the way. I'm very happy with this product and would recommend to anybody who loves Star Wars & the Jedi philosophy, and also who loves to write.
