Who is Tarkin? Isn't he that old guy in charge of the Death Star? Yes, but there is more to him than that.

James Luceno does a fantastic job giving us a solid look at a character most of us remember, but few know anything about. Tarkin dives into the life of Grand Moff Tarkin in a way that makes you root for this cold calculating Imperial despite how connected he is to Vader and The Emperor. Overall, this book was an easy read that will keep you engaged and wanting more. A solid addition to the new Star Wars cannon. One that you should pick up and read for yourself.
