Incredible quality. The colour is vastly improved on these 4K UHD versions compared to the standard Blu Ray versions (no more green tint).
The clarity and detail and again the colour is amazing to see. The absolute best way to watch these films if you have the set up to accommodate. You can tell it wasn’t a rush job to convert the original negatives to a brand to new 4K transfer. The CGI doesn’t look bad at all to say it’s near 20 years old. Holds up very well.

They don’t come with the appendices discs like the last blu ray extended edition collection and it is pricey at £100 but if you’re a fan it’s worth every penny.

Wow. One of the best looking 4Ks out there, a perfect transfer. Visually impeccable, and a solid upgrade from the blu ray. Sound is arguably the biggest upgrade with the Atmos track. (The Battle of Helm's Deep gets taken to another level with the upgrades) Steelbooks themselves are great too. Really nice case for storing them.

Unbelievable improvement in picture quality, Dolby Atmos soundtrack & not only each film with its own steelbook but the outer box is a steelbook with very nice soft internal slots to keep each disc pristine. Expensive but excellent collectors edition.WOW.
