Le Sud is as much a virtual travelogue as it is accessible, mouth-watering cookbook. The clean, simple, photographs and recipes bring you to the cliffs above the sea in the south of France, where one might sip a refreshing cocktail and have a few salty nibbles before getting down to the business of dinner. In lieu of running away to the Côte d'Azur, let this gorgeous cookbook take you there. —Seira Wilson, Amazon Editor
A former protégé of Ina Garten, this is Heuck’s first cookbook, and when she says these are recipes for real life, she’s not just giving us lip service. I found so many recipes to love here, and none of them were daunting or misleading. My new day-to-day favorite on the cookbook shelf. —Seira Wilson, Amazon Editor
Titled after his eponymous restaurant, Zaytinya brings the fresh, seasonal, relaxed style of eating in Greece, Turkey, and Lebanon to the page. Combining classics and creativity, this beautifully photographed cookbook is especially perfect this time of year, when the farmers markets are bursting with fruits and veggies, but it will do right by you whatever the season. —Seira Wilson, Amazon Editor
Mix up a batch of fruity cocktails or mocktails and let Islas transport you to an island paradise in your own kitchen. This gorgeous cookbook includes the island of origin for each recipe, and bright, fresh flavors call to mind fragrant breezes and sand between your toes. Narratives, cooking techniques, and photos bring these faraway places close to home, and an added bonus is the lay-flat binding, which makes this cookbook that much easier to use. —Seira Wilson, Amazon Editor
This is what I like to call a “feel good” cookbook. It evokes that sense of calm that comes with being in nature (whether you’re actually camping or not), and eating really good, effortless, home-cooked meals. It may seem odd that Fritz and his dogs are social media darlings and he’s written a rustic cookbook with old school charm, but that’s the appeal, on and off screen. With recipes for Indoor, Campfire, and Companions (aka sides), this is a go-anywhere cookbook that had me at tater tot breakfast casserole. —Seira Wilson, Amazon Editor
After checking out this cookbook back in the spring, I immediately tagged it as one of the best of the year so far. I love Lieu’s last book, Modern Asian Baking at Home, and this is another winner. Koreatown Soondooboo (spicy tofu stew), delectable dim sum, and noodle dishes I could eat every day of the week, are just a hint of what you’ll find here. Best of all, Lieu’s instructions are impeccable and her recipe notes are both friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a terrific all-around Asian cookbook that you’ll truly put to use, you’ve found it here. —Seira Wilson, Amazon Editor
