Editorial Reviews
Review
"Ratcliffe has provided a strong list of lessons and bullet-point practices that should help any Star Wars enthusiast find their center by using familiar beats and key moments from the franchise to illustrate her larger point– that we Earth-based human beings can learn a few things about maintaining our own mental well-being by looking to the teachings of the fictional Jedi Order from A Galaxy Far, Far Away." -The Laughing Place
“The Jedi Mind is part self-care guide, part Star Wars history lesson and all awesome.[It] demonstratesthat author Amy Ratcliffe not only knows the ins and outs of the Star Wars universe, but holds its universal teachings to heart. While all of these teachings feel firmly rooted in all things Star Wars and the Force, they're also well-known and highly effective techniques for self-care.”―Sweety High
“What Amy Ratcliffe has done, is just brilliant! The words are meaningful, but the advice that comes alongside the Star Wars quotes is for the real world and they resonate so well with our daily lives. This book can give you so much to help restore your well being with its simple messages and positivity. With this in (the Jedi) mind, it is perfect not just for a Star Wars fan, but also anyone else who made need some help at this time.”―Jedi News
"There are lessons from yoga as well as from Yoda, and married to some beautiful, postcard worthy images from Christina Chung this not only makes a handy, travel-sized manual to ponder on but the perfect stocking filler as the festive season approaches." - Fantha Tracks

This is why when I saw this 80-page hardcover edition of this book (Star Wars: The Jedi Mind: Secrets from the force for balance and peace Star Wars chronicle books), on Amazon I purchased it.
This book contains short bits of advice, quote, illustrations and simple exercises on each page taken from Jedi masters such as Yoda and other star war’s characters. The following is a small sample advice tips in this volume: Starting over, release, turn off autopilot, importance in everything, freedom, purpose, love yourself, let go, grounding, motivation, inner voice, speaking truth and calm breathing focus tips.
If you are a fan of Yoda and the force this is a book that you may want in your personal library.
Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Wakizashi-Jutsu: A Bushi Satori Ryu official manual).
My only complaint was the Amazon packaging; it came in a huge box and slid around a lot during transit so it arrived a little scuffed and scratched.

Whether your a Star Wars fan or not, there are some fantastic nuggets of advice to be taken from The JEDi Mind. Also the illustrations are amazing.
I’ve been a Qualified Psychologist now for over 24 years this year, and I’ve read so many books, attended workshops and studied various courses on Psychology, Mindfulness, Meditation, Personal Development, Mental Health & Mindset for Sport & Business etc over the years, and I have to say, a lot of authors and people writing these books or running courses really do overcomplicate with big words and even bigger explanations, when really if they kept it simple and didn’t stray too far away from the point, a lot of people would get so much more from their teachings.
This book keeps the information and the exercises Simple, and by following a code relating to the mind of a Jedi, it also gives you a good point of reference (especially if you’ve seen the films)
I loved this book, and will definitely keep rereading it, because it reminds me not to overthink or overcomplicate my own mindfulness practice!
