Iron Fist: Star Wars Legends (Wraith Squadron): Star Wars: Wraith Squadron—Legends, Book 2 Audible Audiobook – Unabridged

The Rebel Alliance’s elite strike force must double-cross an infamous warlord in the second book of the Wraith Squadron series, the companion to the hit Rogue Squadron series.

Against all odds, the controversial Wraith Squadron has survived its first covert mission. But now they are called upon to cheat death twice. This time, Wedge Antilles sends them in to stop the warlord Zsinj and his Super Star Destroyer, Iron Fist. If Zsinj joins the Empire, it could turn the tide of war against the Rebels.

The Wraith Squadron’s mission: infiltrate the warlord’s fleet and uncover his carefully guarded plans. To do so, they must pose as ruthless pirates seeking to join Zsinj’s forces. And that means first becoming pirates in space lanes teeming with Imperial navy patrols. If that isn’t enough to get them killed, they’ll have to pass one last test—a suicide mission for Zsinj.

Can they survive the test and turn the tables on Zsinj?

Or is this the end for Wraith Squadron?

Aaron continues the great work started by Stackpole with enticing characters, dynamic descriptions of ground and space battle, and a quality integration of new characters alongside established ones. In Iron Fist, there is a little more content to elicit an emotional response, yet not at the expense of plot movement. Lessons learned tended to have an immediate and dramatic cost which I enjoyed. I read the paper backs through high school and now, am enjoying the e-books in my thirties.

Are you aware that there was once a species of aquatic sloths? They swam around and pooped while lazing their days away. Fascinating!

Great story. Read it as a child. Came back 20 years later. I now have a deeper appreciation for several of the more touching moments while the action was just as nail biting and fun!!

This was purchased as a gift. Must be a good book because my husband keeps putting the next book on his wishlist. I'm guessing if it was terrible, he'd find another series to read. He's on to book 9 now.

Not as good as the first Wraith Squadron book, but still worth reading.
