    I'm always very, very skeptical on the quality advertised by these 3rd party/knockoff/imitation brand interlocking plastic bricks (IPB); we own a massive amount of Lego products, and 3rd-party IPB stuff, so we've got experience with both. I'm pleasantly surprised, and relieved, that this set was well done.The overall appearance is pretty great and in-line enough with the source material (game), and the legs are pretty strong and able to support the body off the ground. The only issue is with every-other leg being prone to detaching a body plate when the leg is raised, due to the plate sticking out slightly more for those areas; they only pop off when manually manipulated while trying to pose the legs, and we haven't had them fall off during general play or placement...just when trying to fold the legs up at the base.Secondly, and not necessarily bad, but the head portion detaches easily; it's held on by a rotating 2x2 plate and disc assembly, and the disc comes out of the housing plate if you try to pick the machine up by the head only. It can easily be remedied by using an official Lego version (it doesn't show when snapped on), and I don't mind much as it makes the machine easier to place into a "destroyed" state.I do really recommend this for Zelda fans, as well as people looking for cool parts/colors outside of standard Lego sets.

    My 5-year-old kid is obsessed with guardian stalkers from Breath of the Wild. He loves Legos and wanted this. I was worried that since it isn't made by Lego, the bricks would be bad quality, but I couldn't be any more wrong. I was blown away by the quality of this product. Everything fit together well and it just looks so cool. I'm in my 30s, and I kind of want one for myself now.

    One thing to be aware of is that since it has so many articulating parts, and it has to stand on its legs, that it can be fragile if you actually try and play with it. It will be just fine if you put it on a shelf somewhere and look at it. My son wanted badly to play with it, and the armor on the legs and parts of the head were always falling off. I ended up using super glue on the more troublesome parts. I know this is very frowned upon, but it was either super glue it or deal with hourly tantrums from my child.

    Overall fantastic purchase, just be aware that you will need to glue it if you are making the purchase for a young child.

    I bought this having no idea if it would be any good. It's a no name product, from a company I don't know anything about. I rolled the dice anyway.

    As it turns out, the instructions were done in a Lego style, and were pretty good. They put more steps on one page, but they're clear and easy to follow. All the pieces were there, with a few extra of small parts, just like Lego. You can tell the pieces aren't Lego pieces, but they're still quite good. They fit together fine, even if the fit isn't quite as tight.

    For the price, I can't complain. This is a solid set. It was a fun one sitting build, and the design is really good, with articulated legs and a head that rotates. Was very much worth the price.

    Thought I'd give this clone brand a go. Surpassed my expectations. Legs are super stable and there's plenty of articulation for a small build.

    Though not perfect. The Korok... well he's quite pathetic TBH. Lots of one dot bindings and the piece that holds the leaf on the front... it wants to pop off. Design & parts was great until I got to that little dude.

    Lego comparison (lego sets the bar @ 10 on everything EXCEPT PRICE!)

    Color consistency = 10 😳
    Material quality = 7
    Mold quality/consistency = 9
    Kit design = guardian 10 / korok 4
    Articulation = 10
    Price per piece value = 7
    Packaging = 7
    Instruction manual quality = 9
    Ease of Instructions = 8
    Missing pieces = No
    Extra pieces = 14
    Fun factor = 8
    Lots of repetitive build sequences = yes
    Wow factor = 9

    OVERALL VALUE = 8

    Would I recommend this kit as a lego alternative?
    Yes as long as it's below 7 cents/pc & lego has no comparable.

    I really enjoyed building both these sets. Although, they are not Lego, the quality is still there. Great additions to Zelda collectibles. I would Highly Recommend. Also, I was nervous that there would be missing pieces based on other reviewers. However, all pieces were there.

    I'm always very, very skeptical on the quality advertised by these 3rd party/knockoff/imitation brand interlocking plastic bricks (IPB); we own a massive amount of Lego products, and 3rd-party IPB stuff, so we've got experience with both. I'm pleasantly surprised, and relieved, that this set was well done.

    The overall appearance is pretty great and in-line enough with the source material (game), and the legs are pretty strong and able to support the body off the ground. The only issue is with every-other leg being prone to detaching a body plate when the leg is raised, due to the plate sticking out slightly more for those areas; they only pop off when manually manipulated while trying to pose the legs, and we haven't had them fall off during general play or placement...just when trying to fold the legs up at the base.

    Secondly, and not necessarily bad, but the head portion detaches easily; it's held on by a rotating 2x2 plate and disc assembly, and the disc comes out of the housing plate if you try to pick the machine up by the head only. My son loved this, although it’s not sturdy enough to play with. The top section comes off easily, but perhaps that was my error in building it.

    This set was just a dream to build, it looks amazing when done and compared to other interations of guardians available, it the better choice for the money. Everything snapped together like I was building something put out from Lego and although the instructions were a little jumbled, it was fairly easy to navigate from step to step and figure out what needed to be snapped on next
    It's a 3rd party set so some deviations in quality are to be expected but it came with a ton of extra pieces so I wasn't too upset about having to replace that 1 heat warped brick out with a real lego since everything else was good.
    I'd reccomend this product for any avid Zelda fan or kid looking to have a great looking menacing robot to display or play with
